Lovely period house in a stunning location

A lovely old period house that has obviously accumulated meaningful artifacts/furniture through the years. Well equipped with all modern amenities and set within a truly stunning, private and peaceful location, close to the town centre.

Nice, relaxing stay

We had a lovely, relaxing time at Old Belfield. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge window watching the birds and the squirrel. The weather was nice enough to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio. It was a bit too warm to light the stove, but next time. We walked into Bowness on Windermere and had a meal out, lots of choice, it was handy being walking distance, both of us could have a drink and not worry about who was driving home. The view from the main bedroom down over the lake is lovely, and watching the tree tops from the bed makes you feel a bit like your in a treehouse. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

Post A level weekend away!

Fabulous house, clean, welcoming and very relaxing. We booked last minute as a end of exam treat for our daughter and enjoyed our stay! The house is stunning, it had everything we need. We sat outside listening to the birds and enjoyed the view. It is a little out of town and there is a hill to walk up on the way back but don't let this put you off, it's worth the walk!
