The Cottage on the shores of Lake Wylie

Sit back, relax and enjoy this cozy waterfront cottage surrounded by windows and gorgeous views of Lake Wylie. It's the perfect location for a family vacation or a get away. 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and plenty of space for relaxing, this cottage has it all.

The great room, dining room, kitchen and 2 of the three bedrooms provide you will the perfect lake view.

The quaint cottage sits lakefront on the channel at the beginning of a quiet cove. Tall, mature trees provide shade and privacy. The long driveway allows ample parking in front and along the wooded area (we prefer you do not park on the road).

Good times await from the dock with the swimming ladder and floats. Rent a boat and explore the shoreline, or bring fishing poles for some old-fashioned fun and relaxation. Or just kickback and enjoy the wildlife and serenity from one of the two outdoor areas, complete with comfortable chairs, deck and boat dock. Wifi and internet provided

The luxury home features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms along with a sleeper sofa so that it can easily accommodate 10-12 guests

The Main Level has three bedrooms, and 3 baths:
(1) Master Bedroom with King bed and great lake-view.
(2) Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed and a great lake view
(3) Bedroom 3 has two sets of bunk beds.

Each bedroom has a nightstand with lamp(s), dresser and a place to hang clothes. Bath, beach, and kitchen towels are provided. One laundry room.

LOCATION While here you will feel like you're way out in the country, but the reality is you're just 11 minutes to shopping and restaurants, 27 minutes to the airport, and just 34 minutes from Uptown Charlotte. You'll find this location perfect for visiting Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden (4 mins), Carowinds (38 mins), US National Whitewater Center (34 mins), or our charming small town of Belmont (11 mins). Everything in the Greater Charlotte Region is easily accessible, but you may never wish to leave our little slice of paradise.

This home is nestled in a quiet, close-knit community. Out of respect to our neighbors, we do not allow parties or other partying related activities. For safety and courtesy, no parking is allowed on the street.

Pets under 30 pounds will be considered. There is a fee of *$100.00, per pet.

Lake Oasis

It’s so peaceful and beautiful here. We wanted to experience the lake life on Lake Wylie and still be close enough to explore the town of Belmont. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the kayaks and fishing right off the dock. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay at this gem.

We had a great stay - the house was great for 2 couples. The only negative was the leaking shower in the master but the owners are aware of it and have a sign up. The lake was so serene and we enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The kitchen was well stocked and we liked the layout of the house.

Peaceful Beautiful Lakefront Cottage

What a perfect place! The home is situated on Lake Wylie in a peaceful cove. The open floor plan has an abundance of windows that allows beautiful lake views from every room. We found the home spotless clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable and well appointed with everything. Definitely will book this property again. Adam was great! We highly recommend the Peaceful, Beautiful Lakefront Cottage!

Perfect lake house

My family of 3 absolutely loved this lake house. It's on a little inlet of the lake and was very pretty and peaceful there. We really enjoyed kayaking and sitting out on the dock. Loved nearby downtown Belmont and it was an easy drive to the US Whitewater Center which we came to the area to check out. The house was very clean, open, airy and I loved all the windows facing the water. So relaxing to sit on the couch and read. We definitely hope to stay in the future! 10 out of 10!

Lake life thanksgiving 2024

Great place! Great location! I would recommend getting a bigger place if you have kids! The bunks beds are loud but comfortable! We had too many adults (4) (my mom, my uncle, husband and myself our two children) and we had to sleep in the bunk bed room with our children! The dock is amazing and we did use the fire pit! Pet friendly which was a bonus! I would bring your own towels they did smell a little funky and the glade plug ins needed to be unplugged! The lake views are insane and the place was super open and comfortable!

Online pictures a little old. Primary bath needs attention regarding the shower door. Lots of water on the floor after shower. Obviously an ongoing issue since there were printed signs posted. Exterior yard needs a bit of attention. Logs, sticks etc. but overall a good experience!!

Summer stay at The Cottage

The house is very conveniently located on a nice, quiet cove. New section of the dock was perfect and provided easy access to the water. A lot of thoughtful amenities included. Kitchen had most of the needed utensils and tools, but the oven did not work and the cookware was not in great shape. Master shower has a significant leak onto the floor and we found a mouse in the kitchen. The location was ideal and with some updates and improvements, a nice place to stay.

Family Vacation

Everything about this house is perfect. The indoor and outdoor amenities are fantastic and pristine. We had adult kids ranging from 17-24 with us, and everyone was content. The paddle boards, kayaks, and dock were great, as well as the deck and yard area. We rented a pontoon through the property manager, which was fantastic. The section of lake is quiet for kayaking, but also close enough to a large area that we used the boat for tubing. Comfortable beds, kitchen is bigger than the pictures look, beautiful clean bathrooms, and great communication from Adam. We will rent this again!

Long weekend family wedding

My in-laws, husband, 2 kids, and I stayed at this lake house and had a wonderful time! Though we didn’t cook as many meals as we usually do, the kitchen was stocked with anything we could have needed to cook family meals. The master bath and bunk room have attached bathrooms, one of which has full size laundry. There was another bathroom off the living area that had a tub/shower and all bathrooms included hair dryers and showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash (so nice not to have to pack it!). The dock was great and there were lake views from most rooms in the house. When we come back to visit family, we would definitely book this house again!

Fantastic getaway for families

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lakeside property! Our 3 kids were comfortable and had clean rooms. Our boys loved the bunk bed room! The property had labels on everything and was clearly well thought out for guests. We specifically enjoyed that the house has a gentle slope down to the dock and you can sit on the deck and enjoy watching over everyone. Many lakeside home are very high up a hill from the lake. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows over a fire, using the paddle boards and kayaks, fishing (and catching!) off the dock, and watching movies in the evening. The nearby town of Belmont has an adorable downtown strip with shops and restaurants. We ate at The String Bean and Nellies and both had fantastic meals. I will note they get crowded, even on weekdays, so eat early or make a reservation. We visited the White Water Rafting Center and made a day of rock climbing and zip lining. Such a fun weekend! Great weekend

Second year we have stayed at this property. 6 adults and 2 children. Very nice open spaces. 3 full bathrooms come in handy. Fully equipped kitchen with many necessities provided. Plenty of room to move around and enjoy the scenery. Good location with restaurants and groceries etc.
