An ideal base for a week of bird watching across West Cornwall

An ideal base for a week of bird watching across West Cornwall, including a day trip over to the Isles of Scilly. Highlights included walks through Cot Valley/Porth Nanven and Nanjizal Bay, as well as Godrevy. Cottage has everything we needed for home-cooked meals after long days out. Would definitely stay again next time we're planning a trip to Cornwall.

Absolutely fabulous trip away!

Absolutely fabulous trip away for our son's first holiday (he's 10 weeks old)! You have a wonderful cottage. Well stocked and sofas are 10/10 comfortable! We spent time at Sennen Cove, we went to the beach at Perranporth and Porthcurno, and had an excellent lunch at Gurnard's Head. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful Stay at Millstone Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Millstone Cottage. The accommodation is beautiful, and the location was perfect for our trip. We especially enjoyed visiting Godrevy & Mutton Cove, Padstow, the Minack Theatre, St Ives, and Porthleven. Everything made for a fantastic holiday, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

We spent two weeks at Millstone Cottage and really enjoyed it,

We felt very welcome. The cottage is lovingly furnished and featured many special details. Cornwall's rugged coastline had already captured our hearts, and we soaked up countless memories. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and were able to swim in the sea after our hikes – it was simply WONDERFUL. We also loved the little pubs and their food.

Great base for walking the South West Coast Path

This is a very comfortable cottage with everything provided for your stay. Nice welcome gift of cream tea ingredients, bottle of Prosecco and milk. Kitchen very well equipped. The village is very quiet but as long as you have a car it is very quick to get to both the north and south coasts of Cornwall. I used the cottage as a base for walking the South West Coast Path from St Agnes to Sennen Cove and the location was ideal. Can’t think of anything.

It’s a lovely place you have here!

Thank you so much for all your advice during our stay – especially the recommendation to visit Kynance Cove, it was absolutely beautiful. Andrew was such a great host – warm, helpful and always on hand if we needed anything. Our son absolutely loved the teddy bear you gave him – it made his holiday extra special! We’ll definitely keep you in mind if we come back to Cornwall. It would be lovely to stay with you again! Thanks again for everything. Take care,

Fabulous week at Millstone Cottage!! So well appointed, nothing is not provided and such a comfortable spot to relax. Memorable visits to see the sunset at Land’s End, Minack Theatre, Cornwall Seal Sanctuary, Mousehole and multiple scenic coves. Best eating had at Porthmeor Beach Cafe and Penzance Kitchen which were both excellent. Maybe skip Penzance which is a little jaded. All in all a five star cottage which has been so thoughtfully provided. We will be back!! Gleristes Family

We were honoured to perhaps be the first renters of this beautifully refurbished cottage, certainly the first in this book. After a little difficulty in locating the property, we discovered a refurb completed to a faultless finish. Everything you might need had been thought of and provided. The difficulty was leaving the cottage to explore the wonderful landscape! Highlights of our stay included a visit to the Minack Theatre, a lovely walk around the headland at Zennor, and taking the No. 16 bus to St. Ives. Bruce & Kathleen (Cambridge)
