SPECTACULAR BEACHFRONT HOME IN THE OCEAN PARK SECTION OF OLD ORCHARD BEACH.

Home has been completely renovated (2023: addition of three upstairs bedrooms including a master with oceanfront deck; 2024: 1st floor master bed, ocean view windows, deck redone). Walkway to the 7 mile sandy beach is steps from house; you're on the beach with a one minute walk over the dunes.

Open floor plan offers generous ocean views from the kitchen, dining area, large living room, first floor front bedroom, and upstairs master bedroom. Hardwood floors and a redecorated interior make indoor time comfortable and stylish. Wrap around first floor porch / deck on the dunes plus a second floor master bedroom balcony, both with panoramic ocean views.

Ground floor: Spacious kitchen with new oven / flat top glass stove, ice-maker, microwave, drink fridge, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and everything you need for your barbecue in the cabinets. Full bathroom with washer/dryer. Wall mounted TV w/ cable. Very strong WiFi. Bedroom #1 is on the ocean side with private bathroom/shower, heat pump AC unit and queen size bed; kid-friendly bedroom #2 has a bunkbed and a twin bed.

The second floor, renovated spring 2023, now has three bedrooms, with (heat pump) ceiling vented AC and a shared bathroom w/ shower. BR #3 has a queen, BR #4 a twin plus bunk beds, and BR #5 (the new master) has a queen, spacious closet, reading nook, smart TV, and direct access to an oceanfront deck.

This home is a <10 minute walk to the quaint shops of Ocean Park and a 15 minute walk to downtown Old Orchard Beach and its amusement park.

A Level 2 EV (car) charger may be available for tenant use. Please inquire.

The rental portion described here and available to tenants is the original house on this property. An attached but completely separate addition to the original house was added in 2000, and the owner and his family may occupy the addition concurrently with rentals.

Great Vacation

Great house with good sleeping options and awesome views. We used this as a home base for visiting much of the Maine coast and some good beach time. Would recommend, especially the views!

Fabulous house on the beach

We (extended family of 10) have been doing a week at the beach for the last 15 years, and this was the best house yet. There was plenty of room for us to have game nights and dinner as a family as well as plenty of space to have alone time. The location of being right on the beach was spectacular and Dan could not have been more accommodating or easier to deal with. We’ve already booked next year here. Just wonderful.

We stayed here with 10 adults and 2 children, and it was the perfect house for all of us. It was fully stocked with everything needed (pots and pans, TP, towels, etc) and RIGHT ON THE BEACH! beach was not crowded and it’s a short walk downtown. The property manager, Patty, was extremely accommodating and so kind to work with our travel schedule. 10/10 will be back

Great getaway

Fantastic vacation! House was beautiful - very well appointed, comfortable. Owner very friendly/responsive. Property just steps to a large sandy beach. Water in this area noticeably warmer than other Maine locations, and the ocean was very kid friendly - waves but not too rough and a long runway until it gets too deep. Far enough away from downtown that it's a little quieter, but close enough to walk to Ocean Park for ice cream or pizza or into Olde Orchard for amusement park, mini-golf, etc. Highly recommend, will definitely stay again!!

Best family beach house in Old Orchard!

OOB has been a family summer vacation destination for over 15 years. We have stayed in many locations over the years and this beach house and location on the beach is the best there is! This was our 3rd year at this Beach House and it is a family favorite. Less than 10min walk to OOB pier and less than 5min walk to Ocean Park. The deck deck views are spetacular and lots of space for the family. We will be going back again next year! Thanks Dan, you are the most gracious host!

Great spot!

We could not have asked for a better house and location! We were a family of 6 (4 kids ages 24, 23, 12 and 10) and another family or 4 and we fit perfectly. You are right on the water and a short walk or drive to many great places. Owner and property manager were very responsive and helpful! We have stayed at many VRBO's and were impressed with how much was provided for us that many do not have (there was laundry detergent, dish soap, sponges, etc etc etc that many do not provide!).

Perfect location for beach access

This house had everything we needed for a great vacation. Within walking distance to the Pier and a foot path right out to the beach from the house. And an easy drive to the Portland Mall for a day of shopping. The older kids could walk to the Pier for nightly entertainment. Also the kitchen was well equipped as well as an outdoor gas grill for preparing meals at home instead of going out every night.The only drawback was that it wasn't really suitable for a toddler. We did purchase a couple of baby gates to keep the little one from running up and down stairs. And with 9 people, we ran out of hot water a couple of times but it was a hot week so a cool shower was actually refreshing. The one bedroom downstairs did not have AC but all the other rooms did.

Girls Weekend Away

I rented this house with a group of friends (8 of us total) and we had a great time. The house is very easy to find, not far off of the highway. The house has a very open floor plan, which was great for a big group. There is direct beach access which is very convenient, and it is not too far of a walk down the beach to the peir if you don't want to drive. The house was very clean when we arrived. The furnishing are a little dated, but we found it charming. The upstairs sleep loft is a big open room, and it can accomodate an air mattress or two if needed. Beautiful views from the deck, just an overall great trip.

Amazing Beach front Property!!!

This was by far the nicest area and house at Old Orchard Beach!!! The house is pristine, well stocked, clean, plenty of space for our family of six and then some!! It really is designed for a two family accommodation. Let’s talk location, steps to the beach was incredible, setting up the beach chairs, coming home for lunch, enjoying the night breeze one of the two decks. The house is located in a quiet family area of Old Orchard Beach. The short 15 minute walk to the pier was fantastic for the teens, and us. We enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness of the house/area and ability to walk a short distance for action at the Pier.Dan the owner is just such a great guy, he has owned the property for twenty years and has done amazing things with the interior and exterior. Dan gave us tips on the best local restaurants, attractions for the kids and made sure our stay was memorable.Dan supplies Kayaks, beach chairs, life vests, and the amount of outdoor seating was very impressive.Everything was seemless , the pictures don’t do this amazing jem justice.Book it!!!We’ll be back soon Dan!!Thank you!

Perfect Location

We had a last minute change in vacation plans and thankfully came across Dan's listing. Not only was Dan quick to answer any and all questions we had but his house turned out to be the perfect place for my family and I to relax and enjoy the beach in Maine. The property, house and amenities were as described (and/or better such is the case with the recent upstairs remodel!). We had four adults and three teenage kids aged 11 - 17 and we all had plenty of room. The location is perfect with the right balance of being close to the peacefulness of Ocean Park while also being close enough to what downtown OOB has to offer as well. More importantly, you are also only a few steps away from the amazing beach! I can't thank Dan and his property manager Patty enough for being so kind and helpful. We will certainly look to be back!

All in all everything was good! Property needed a little TLC, Screens were missing/broken. Outdoor umbrella broken. Huge upstairs room with 3 beds has big giant windows but no screens to keep the birds out. Dan was good and property manager was great!

Best house we have ever rented in ocean park !

Our family has vacationed in o ran park for over 50 years every summer. We used to have a summer home as a family. This house was like coming home for our family but better! The house is updated spacious well equipped and aesthetically beautiful. We came from 5000 miles away and really needed nothing more than beach wear! Owner is exceptional ! Truly best experience we have ever had and we have had plenty of experience in this area of houses and renting! Could not thank him enough one of the best memories for our family!
