About this property

Gabarier's house in the historic heart of the medieval village of La Roque Gageac

Nestled at the foot of the cliff, in one of the most beautiful villages in France, overlooking a loop of the Dordogne and offering an exceptional view of the Dordogne, on the castles of La Malartrie and Castelnaud.

Restored with respect for old stones, the house can accommodate 4 to 5 people and has a terraced garden.

On the ground floor, direct access by a first flowered terrace equipped with garden furniture where a lime tree allows you to eat in the shade, an open kitchen with cantou and a living room in exposed stones.

On the 1st floor, a large comfortable and carefully decorated bedroom, facing south with a splendid view, it has a 140 x 200 bed, a large wardrobe and an old chest of drawers, a large bathroom with bath and WC.

On the 2nd floor, a bedroom also facing south with the same view, with two 90 x 200 beds and storage units, a bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet.

Direct access from the 2nd floor to the second terrace of the lawned garden, equipped with garden furniture and allowing access to a 3rd wooded terrace at the foot of the rocks.

The exceptional setting of this house makes this place a choice stop located in the heart of the major tourist sites of the Périgord Noir.
