Beautiful, deluxe studio apartment with every amenity. Full size refrigerator, stove with oven, dishwasher, pots and pans, microwave, dishes, glass ware, untensils, toaster and coffee maker. Registered historical tudor landmark built by Carl Fisher in the 1920s. Magnificent lobby with 2 fireplaces, restaurant, cable TV with HBO, DVD, wireless internet. Beach chairs and umbrella, tennis racquets, golf clubs and balls exercise room, tennis. Spa services available. Minutes to fabulous beaches. Visit East Hampton, Bridge Hampton and Amagansett. Horse back riding near by and interesting historical sights. Once there, you are minutes from secluded or lifeguard protected beaches, world-class fishing, surf fishing, golf, horseback riding, hiking, biking, boating, jet-ski and motor scooter rentals, wind surfing, ferry to Block Island, whale watching, surfing. Local surf shops offer rentals and lessons. Countless restaurants serve varied cuisines including 'fresh catch of the day'. Lobster at Goshman’s fish market cooked and cracked. The indoor pool is now open!Guests need to be 25 years old.

Ensconced in the venerable grand Montauk Manor, this is a real gem. The apartment is well furnished, and there were many homey touches like decorative pillows and beautiful artwork. I was very happy there.

Bed was super hard and should be replaced. No beach towels provided. Problems connecting to WiFi and couldn’t figure it out. Place was super clean and a great spot to hang out on a couple rainy days, though!

Hello Katherine, Thank you for your comments. I will consider replacing the mattress with a softer one. Some people like a very firm mattress others like a soft one and some like something in between. As far the wi fi connection, sometimes the system is not working properly. I suggested that you connect to another room’s wi fi temporarily. I heard this complaint before but when I checked it out the wi fi was working fine. Again it might have been that the system was not working.

The property was a little misleading from the advertisement showed all the new improvements to the apartment, but didn’t show the rest of the apartment. Couch was dated. Bedding was also dated television was small hard to view when laying in bed was told we couldn’t use the shuttle would probably go through the hotel next time didn’t really save money renting private owner

I am sorry you found fault with your stay in our studio. However the couch is not dated but the material which is a combination of silk and another fabric looks like that. Also, in my listing I clearly state that our guests do not have access to the Montauk Manor shuttle. You could take car service for a very reasonable fee. As for the television, only a certain size fits in that space. We will be replacing that TV with a newer model but it will probably be the same size. When your laying in the bed you are pretty close to the TV. Thank you for your suggestions and we will take them under consideration. Thank you. Sincerely, Robert Brathwaite

Beautiful grounds, room was neat and clean. We found the tabletop ironing board but were unable to find an iron. Towels were at a premium. You might want to pack an extra. Overall, it was nice

There should be numerous towels in the dresser or in the closet on the top shelf. The iron is in the closet on the top shelf probably in back of the bag that has extra linens for the convertible couch. I will speak to my cleaning service to check on these issues. Thank you for your feedback.

Convenient to everything in Montauk. The only comment is that the property will not let you use the shuttle to go into town. Lovely pool and accommodations.

Our stay was excellent however the bed in our room was as firm as bricks, needed to use the mattress from the pull out couch to put on top of the bed, tried to sleep on the pull out first but you can feel the springs.

Montauk Manor Is a Gem

Great stay and Robert was very helpful

The room was comfortable, clean, and just what we needed after spending the day at the beach. The decor was homey and tasteful. The towels were fluffy and sheets and blankets cozy. Close to town but in a beautiful setting. We really loved the heated pool area. Hope when we come back the indoor pool and restaurant are open.
