Both the living room and master bedroom have access to a large secured private balcony, that includes a lovely outdoor high-top table and comfortable chairs to sit in while you enjoy your morning coffee or a breezy family dinner. You will enjoy watching the sunrises and moon rising over the Atlantic Ocean from your private balcony.
Come relax with all the conveniences of home in our comfortable CONDO! Our unit is a split floor plan perfect for families, retirees, and friends getaways! ... The longer you stay, the better!
*Building is very secure (Fab key & Security cameras) with underground parking and assigned parking space, two speedy elevators so no stairs to climb with suitcases.
* Hurricane protected with impact windows and sliding door. *Wireless Internet throughout the building and at the Pool! *Beach chairs, umbrella, and bodyboard for your use. *There is also a gas BBQ grill on site with picnic tables. *Fully equipped exercise room on the main level of the building. * Bike rentals across the street!! *Two saunas, a hot tub, and a heated pool overlooking the ocean. Spend a day of fun in the sun, swimming in the heated pool, the ocean, or just relaxing on the beach.

The Master bedroom has a king-size, bed with a full-size dresser, 2 nightstands, master bath with a walk-in shower. The Guest bedroom has a full-size bed, a full-size dresser, guest bath with a walk-in shower. The living room includes a new queen pull-out sleeper sofa, as well. For the infants to be able to sleep, we have a playpen crib.
We have the convenience of a workstation with a 27-inch LCD monitor and a keyboard, for those looking to work.
The laundry room is off the kitchen and contains a full-size washer and dryer and there is great storage space.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a glass-top stove, full-size microwave, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, blender, oven, dishes, glassware, and all the utensils you will need. Enjoy your meal in the dining room that seats 4 people comfortably or at the breakfast bar with 3 bar stools. We also have an infant high chair.
All linens and towels are provided. There is also an ironing board and iron.
You just have to walk a few steps down to the beach, where you can go for a swim, catch some waves on your surfboard, or soak up some luminous rays with the sand between your toes.

Absolutely loved the condo and location. Condo was well equipped with everything we needed and very roomy for the 4 of us. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. Owners were great to work with. Thank you
We absolutely had a blast staying here for our vacation! The owner was very forthcoming about the construction going on and it didn’t really bother us. The unit was one of the best stocked units I’ve ever been to and it was perfect for my family. Loved that the pool and hot tub were open and the beach access was as well! We would love to stay here again for our next vacation!
The location was absolutely beautiful. The remodeling on the building was a little unwelcoming but we understood it needed to be done. My children and
myself enjoyed waking up and taking in the sunrise.
An older unit that needs some updating, particularly flooring and mattresses. Very conveniently located in Daytona beach Shores. It was nice to have a laundry. Owners were easy to get in touch with. Really liked the secure parking with assigned spots and that there were plenty of luggage carts and even grocery carts for use after store trips.
Beautiful as always, this is my second time staying here and it was just as impressive as the first time. I did miss the balcony but we was able to sit along the pool and still watch the ocean. The other guest in the building were just as polite and welcoming. The only issue I had was the fan in the master room made too much noise when it was on, it was like it was unbalanced.

Hurricane Ian -- All flights into Daytona/Orlando were canceled.
We could not get to the Condo, the bridges were closed and there was no power. I haven't heard any information if the Sand Dollar had any damage and if it's even open.

Your commentary is very dishonest and unjust. We call you and text you multiple times since a week before hurricane Ian to cancel or reschedule due to the storm. You never answer us back until the date of check-in letting us know that your flight was canceled, as normally happens during a storm of this size. You mentioned to us that despite the storm you still will come, no matter how. Finally, you have to accept that your check-in was impossible. We also offer you to choose another date at your convenience, even though we were not obligated due to cancelation on the same day of check-in. You choose to come in 2023. In matters of the hurricane damage to the building during the storm, it was impossible for us to drive and exposes us to the danger of hurricane Ian to satisfy your curiosity, when the city was closed and flooded and you were already booked for another time. Despite being generous with you, you don't appreciate the opportunity we were bringing to you to come back free of charge in the future. Now we will exercise our rights as property owners to act according to the cancelation policies established.

Doing construction at property,
Could NOT use balcony the whole three weeks! Property wife was supposed to let us in lobby when we got there.she did Not, workers did. Very noisy with construction from 8am to 4pm.when call guest host, he let call go into voicemail and seemed angry when he had to call back. Issue with key to mailbox.

It is unfortunate that despite all the information disclosed on this site regarding the building renovation in which the building was under construction, balconies closed, and will be noise from 8 am until 4 pm, you decided to accept the situation and even declined cancellation to then make unjust comments. We told you in many occasions you call us the status of the renovations, but you decided to come anyway to take advantage of our low tariff.
Also, as owners, we don't need to be there to greet you or let you in since it is a condominium, and as in many vacation properties, instructions are provided on how to access keypads and key box. Is beyond our understanding that you were unable to enter the codes despite me guiding you through the process. All amenities were available and a beautiful unit was provided.
We even contact the HOA office to provide you with the mailbox key, and even drove 3 hours to get you an extra mailbox key. Additionally, you asked for an early check in before 4 pm and agreed for 11 am since unit was ready.
In essence, you had made injust comments and reviews regarding the unit. As premier hosts we always work for our guests and work for them to make their vacation an enjoyable time.

Property was listed as "exterior renovation" After booking, we found out from owner that our balcony would be closed and unaccessable. This was not mentioned in the listing. The construction began each morning at 7:45am with loud jack hammer non stop up to 5:00pm. We used an app to check decible levels and the app stated noise levels were "Unsafe". The ocean veiw windows looked out to scaffolding with construction workers 6 feet from our windows, so curtains would need to be closed at all times for privacy.
Luckily we were busy all day searching for houses to buy, but had to be out each day at 7:45am because the noise was unbearable.
This is a beautiful unit, clean and decorated wonderfully. Would be a great rental when construction is complete.
This should not have been available for rent, for the days we were there!
Also, we heard from other owners that renovations will not be complete untill fall 2024

Even though there is an instant message about that when someone tries to book asking to read the complete description of the property in which is clear the exterior renovations, the balcony closed, the noise during the day from 8 to 4:30. , so you cannot come here to say we didn't tell you anything because the information is available for everyone that do their part and read the property description. We also directly talked to you and gave you information on that matter and you decided to accept the situation and even declined cancellation to then make unjust comments. We told you on many occasions you call us about the status of the renovations, but you decided to come anyway to take advantage of our low tariff. You never reached us to let us know you were uncomfortable with your staying due to the noise of the exterior renovations. All amenities were available and a beautiful unit was provided. You called us just the day before your checkout to let us know that our unit was beautiful and impeccable, but that the noise of renovations on balconies made you uncomfortable. I don't understand why you didn't let us know as soon as you got to the unit and just when you were leaving. Daytona trip
We’ve stayed at this property before (just not this particular condo) we were excited as the view is amazing. I communicated with the owner from the beginning and was told the balconies should be accessible by February so we weren’t too worried. I tried contacting the owner a couple weeks before our arrival with no response. Upon arrival we saw a lot of construction,but figured we should be okay. Once we got into the condo we found out the balcony was inaccessible the doors were blocked & there were shoring braces obstructing the view. Monday-Friday there is construction from 8-4 using an annoying compact drill so vacating is a must. Then watching the workers come up every morning on the scaffolding is another great way to start the day (NOT). I wish the owner would have been more truthful as to what was happening so we could have made a more informed decision. If we had known the extent of the construction we would’ve made a different decision. BTW Construction will not be done until 2025 as we were told by the property manager.

Condo was very clean and decorated beautifully. Oceanfront on a wonderful part of the beach.
Almost everything you need to enjoy your stay. Plenty of nice towels. Beach chairs. The condo could use shower caddy’s in the showers to place shampoo, soap, etc. a minor inconvenience.
Patio has a good assortment of furniture.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay.
This property was great - clean and had everything needed on hand - the property manager was a nice guy - this was not our first stay at Sand Dollar but our first time in this particular condo. The location is great too, with a Publix nearby and restaurants
We had an enjoyable trip! The condo unit was what we expected. We did have an issue with the lock on the door and the owners were quick to respond and had the problem fixed during our stay. Would recommend!
Great location. Lots of fun activities to do, from parasailing to dolphin tours. Nice beach-side restaurants and bars, my favorite spot was Land Shark. We will definitely come back in the future!
We had a wonderful week stay. the resort was clean and comfortable. The beach chairs and umbrella where i nice touch as we used them everyday. The kitchen had every amenity we needed for the week. Only a few issues for the week but they did not my rating of the resort. The washing machine did not work and we had to take some laundry one day the a nearby laundromat to wash. The owners were contacted and the earliest a new could be delivered was at the end of the week. The refrigerator Ice making is also very slow. It would only do about 1 drop a day. We ended up just buying bags of ice and the freezer was plenty big enough to hold 2 bags of ice for the week. The resort was well maintained throughout the entire week. Plenty of pool chairs to lounge around the pool and very easy access to the beach. The underground parking is certainly a plus as you did not have to get into a blazing hot car anytime you wanted to go somewhere. The only reason I did not rate the property manager a 5 star was because we never saw anyone in the office the entire week. The lights were on during business hours, but no one was ever in the office. Not that we needed anything urgent. We just like to ask locals for suggestions on activities and dining suggestions but no one was ever in the office. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with our family for the week.
The views off the large balcony was amazing. Kitchen was fully staffed. Master bed was comfortable and slept well. I would recommend this condo for anyone coming to Daytona Beach. Nidya and Ed were both very helpful.
