Intimate lakefront retreat with magnificent infinity pool and stunning lake view

This exceptional home is incredibly spacious, kid and grandparent-friendly and ideal for family getaways and reunions. This 6000+ sqft home features 9 beds, a heated infinity pool and spa, a high-end built in Lynx barbecue and is situated in a very private cove.

Unlike many properties that advertise themselves as being on the lake, this is a true "lake house", located just 50 feet from the lake water's edge. That's why you chose to rent a lake house after all, isn't it? You want to be able to see the lake up close and to access it easily and that's why this is the ideal lake property in North Georgia.

Being located just 75 minutes north of the Atlanta airport and 50 minutes from metro Atlanta, our property will feel far enough to get away, yet close enough to commute if necessary. As such, it is also an ideal spot for work retreats for local businesses and teams, providing an inspiring and fun atmosphere that is perfect for collaboration and team building. And you can easily stay connected to your world thanks to our robust, whole-house Orbi WIFI setup.

Outside you will enjoy glistening views of the water from the infinity pool and two-story dock. Sip your morning coffee on our expansive two-story patio, complete with lounge furniture, while you watch boaters and jet skiers go by. You are welcome to park your owned or rented boat in our extra dock slip.

The infinity pool features waterfalls, a sunning ledge, and color-changing lights. Slip into the hot tub for some post-dinner relaxation - easily controlled via iPad. Our fire pit is the perfect place to roast s’mores or strum the guitar while the cicadas and bullfrogs sing along.

Inside our home, we have 9 beds including an office with a convertible sleeper sofa. (We also have two air mattresses available.) Each one of the three floors has its own washer/dryer so you won’t have to lug pool towels up and down. The spacious kitchen is a central gathering place with towering windows that look out on the water. Our beautiful handmade dining table seats 12, perfect for a family dinner or team meeting.

The basement features a ping pong table, bar with ice machine, wraparound couch (“Big Blue”), and a 75-inch plasma TV with YouTube TV. It’s an easy walk outside to the pool area, where you can grill burgers and dogs at our Lynx grill (includes a rotisserie) while still catching a perfect view of the lake. You might also enjoy the novelty of taking a rinse in our enclosed outdoor shower.

The front of our home has a beautiful porch with rustic rocking chairs that make for the perfect reading spot. We have ample parking at the base of the house, plus two additional parking spots along the driveway and one garage space. The driveway is gated with a key code.

Our home is located just down the road from a lovely park with three boat ramps — useful for guests who plan to bring your own boat or jet skis. The park is also a great place for walking or running. We are seven minutes from the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall, as well as right down the road from Kroger, Walmart, Publix, Home Depot, and many restaurants.


If you’re looking for something handicap accessible, our golf cart makes it easy to drive someone down our wraparound path, “Shimmer Lane,” so they can get to the pool without walking down stairs. Please note: the dock is not handicap accessible, as you have to walk down a stepping stone path to access it.
