Easy, ideal stay for a young family. The only reason for 4/5 stars on location is we have stayed at other properties in town with fewer hills easier for stroller use. Overall would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others. The host did a FANTASTIC job and the home was well appointed and as easy as it gets.

We had a hiccup when we arrived, but the owner was super responsive and we got things fixed quickly. Other than that our stay was great and the house is perfectly located to enjoy Carmel and also some rest and relaxation! We will (hopefully) be back!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is located very close to downtown, very easy to walk to.The decor was done nicely. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was very well stocked with glassware, cups,etc.Having a downstairs bedroom and bath made it very private if you were traveling with another couple or person.

This was a beautiful and spacious VRBO. Everything you could possibly need for a lovely stay . When we weren’t out exploring the quaint surroundings we enjoyed wine and cheese in the backyard taking in all the lovely and eclectic decorations.

We loved staying at this well appointed house! The beds were super comfy with nice blankets. The deck was a lovely place to have a conversation, and the walk to town was about 7 minutes. We hope to come again.

Beautiful home & the location was perfect for all we had planned for our Carmel vacation. Our host thought of every convenience to make our stay extra special. Great beds, linens, well stocked kitchen with top of the line appliances & supplies.

The property has lots of lighting and was beautiful! Parking can be a little difficult so try to carpool, but everything else was exactly like the listing! Loved staying there!

We had such a wonderful stay at this home in Carmel-by-the-Sea for our girls’ trip! The location truly couldn’t have been better — we were able to walk to the shops, restaurants, the beach, and even nearby hiking trails. It made everything so easy and relaxing.The gardens were absolutely gorgeous and created such a peaceful setting. Inside, the home was just as lovely. The bedrooms were comfortable with cozy beds, the bathrooms were spacious and well-equipped, and the kitchen had everything we needed to easily enjoy our time together.Everything about the stay felt thoughtful and welcoming. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Best Friend Birthday Weekend!

We had a lovely stay in Carmel and our host, Sonny stayed in touch with me regarding check-in & check-out...very easy! The home had everything we could ask for!! Sonny left us a beautiful note and gift upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Magical Place

The house was very well appointed. Kitchen served us well for a Christmas turkey dinner. Privacy for adult children downstairs. Close enough to town for easy walk after wine tasting. Loved the Christmas tree. We will certainly be back.

We loved it! Sunny thought of everything, attention to detail is on point. The house has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard the first night with our wine! We would definitely stay here again. You can walk to town, it’s bit of hike going up the hill but gave us some cardio. So many shops and restaurants to enjoy. Carmel we will be back! Thank you again Sunny!

Perfect - not an overstatement

Brought my elderly mother and sibling - we love Carmel but have never stayed this close to town. Listing does not do it justice. Not only the location (both beach and town are very walkable for those that are not elderly). But the house and property are thoughtfully decorated and has every accessory needed. Plenty of private outdoor space. Felt lucky to have found it.

Bay Area Visitors

The house is beautiful and well appointed. My husband and I were there with our adult daughter and her boyfriend. The house has a wonderful layout with a bedroom/bathroom downstairs and two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. This provides a wonderful separation and privacy. The bedrooms are large, luxurious, and private. At the same time the common space is comfortable, open, and light. A great space to hang out as a family and enjoy. We loved every minute of our stay.
