Great stay in central location

We enjoyed our stay at Pierre’s property. Bothered Pierre and his wife are wonderful and responsive hosts. They gave us a great tour of the property when we arrived and responded immediately when we asked for additional fans when the weather got too hot during our stay. We literally received fans the same day we asked for. The pool is big and kids truly enjoyed it. The house has everything you need and more. I highly recommend this property with the wonderful hosts.

Lovely house with pool and whatever you might need

Lovely spacious house, great pool and table tennis. The kitchen is equipped to make a feast for an army, and theres a gas barbecue outside. Very quiet area, bakery a 20 minute walk, with a Leclerc 15 minutes by car where theres every bit of food, drink etc you could ever need. Public transport possible to central Bordeaux a few mins walk from the house, or drive 20 mins to park and tram.Lots if options for day trips, though its a busy area in summer so its an hour to get to most places, but well worth it!!

St Aubin summer time

just returned from a wonderful French holiday. Bordeaux is a lovely city, and an easy commute from the nearby tram terminus (avoid taking your car if you can). the gite itself is very good - a hit with our 4 year old who never thought you could have a pool to yourself!!!!

Very nice house

Very nice house with pool. Everything you can think of is available. Great fence around the pool, ideal for small children and worried free parents. Lacanau ocean is a great place as well. Only 40 minutes drive. Nice host who welcomed us with a bottle of wine. Owners are very nice as well, more than happy with this pleasant stay.

Peaceful and relaxing

Quiet peaceful, secure location. Car essential. Spacious. Well equipped. Lots of mod cons. Our flight was late evening and the host agreed to let us stay until 5pm (check out normally 10am) no charge which was enormously appreciated Could improve- marketed as non smoking but smelled strongly of stale tobacco throughout our stay. Had a negative effect on our stay. Non english speaking meet & greet agent, unable to demostate cooker, tv operaion. Pool was not clean on arrival and after robotic clean, could still have been cleaner. Bushes and trees surrounding pool in dire need of pruning,overgrown & untidy. Lots of debris from them into the pool. If property is being marketed to the English, a selection of english TV channels should be available.

Summer in Saint-Aubin

A truly wonderful property, really nicely designed and furnished. Spacious and well-equipped throughout. The pool is a really nice size and is also fully enclosed by a fence and gate, which gives you peace of mind to allow the kids to run around in the main garden (which is huge). The neighbourhood is very peaceful and friendly, and an excellent location to go to Bordeaux itself or to the coast. There is so much to do in the region and all the shops you'd need are very close. Our only difficulty was with communication as the host does not speak much English at all (while our French is equally weak!). This made finding the property and check-in quite a bit harder than it could have been, but in the grand scheme of things not the biggest deal in the world. The property itself was well worth the communication issues! Our only constructive feedback and a word of warning to fellow Brits travelling in the summer - the house doesn't have a/c and is only equipped with one portable fan. It hit 36 degrees while we were there and it really was very hot still at night. More fans in bedrooms especially would be a welcome addition for those who aren't used to the heat! Pierre and his son Joe are friendly, relaxed and very lovely and overall we highly recommend this property.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cette très jolie et agréable maison. Il y avait absolument tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin et les propriétaires ont été présent à chaque fois que nous avions besoin. Nous sommes RAVIS de notre séjour ! La maison est spacieuse, propre, très bien équipée, nous n'avons manqué de rien ! Les enfants ont adoré la piscine, et nous aussi! Super séjour malgré le mauvais temps

Nous sommes venus à 4 adultes et 2 enfants. La maison est très spacieuse, propre et bien agencé. La piscine ,la terrasse ,le jardin avec son petit potager et surtout le petit coin enfant ( un grand merci de la part de mimi 🥰) sont un vrai plus Cadre très calme et verdoyant. Équipements de la maison intérieure et extérieure parfait : les vélos et ping pong, produit de première nécessité très appréciée. Sejour bien passé. Maintenant procédure d'arrivée et de départ très problématique Aucun état des lieux sérieux n'est fait à l'arrivée et l'état des lieux de départ est fait APRES le départ des vacances et est donc sujet à des dégradations inventées. Résultat : caution encaissée sans aucune justification légale ni prouvée. Litige en cours..

Avec ma famille nous avons passer une très bonne semaine malgré la piscine impraticables le 1ier jour ( en rien de la faute des propriétaires ) à ce sujet si la piscine été chauffée cela serait un beau plus. Autre point, la proximité de bordeaux c'est top ainsi que d'autres grandes villes.merci bcp pour votre accueil

Super sejour dans une superbe maison décorée avec gout (plus belle encore que sur les photos) , grande piscine de 9x5 parfaite pour la famille propreté impeccable sans parler du super accueil qui nous a été reservė. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette belle maison. De belles pièces spacieuses, tout le nécessaire était présent. La cuisine est très bien équipée. La grande piscine était très rafraîchissante. La maison est située dans un quartier très calme et se trouve au centre de nombreuses excursions. Les propriétaires sont des gens très agréables. fortement recommandé !

Notre but premier lors de notre planification de voyage était la localisation de la maison pour minimiser nos déplacements lors des visites de vignoble et la visite de la ville de Bordeaux (excellente localisation et services à proximité).
