We go to get our parking permit at both offices. Was told we don’t have one. I immediately called the host, which he answered immediately. I explained we don’t have a pass. The host worked on that for us immediately. In less than five minutes we had our passes. We go to our vacation home. Upon entering I noticed no house keeping was done. Bedrooms had sheets and towels on the floor. Kitchen wasn’t cleaned. I immediately called the host and explained. Host called me a couple minutes later saying house keeping will arrive in about an hour. House keeping did show up an hour later. We went out to eat. By the time we came back to our vacation home. The home was cleaned and ready for us to enjoy. I will say the dock does need repairs. This property is awesome and enough room for my family to spread out. The wildlife was incredible to see and enjoy in the back yard. We saw a deer family with doses, fawns and buck. Saw turtles and gators in the water. My dogs enjoyed the property and the wildlife as well. We would definitely stay at this home again. It has everything for my family.
We enjoyed staying in palmetto dunes and having our puppies be able to go with us’! This home is a very reasonable walking distance to the beach so that was just icing on the cake!
We enjoyed everything. It was peaceful and the children enjoyed everything as well. The location was nice for a family vacation and had everything there without really having to go anywhere.
We had a wonderful time during our long weekend at this home. The house was just as listed and we especially loved the large back yard, especially with our dog coming along this trip. It’s an easy bike ride to the beach, or short drive to park at Dunes House for beach access. Would absolutely stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and plenty of deer, turtles and lizards. Our grandchildren loved the backyard. Owner was quick to take care of getting a car pass for a last minute medical need. Loved the skylights in the main room. Thank you for everything.
We booked here for our stay in HH to visit family. Check in was painless and house is in slightly dated but very good condition. I was especially impressed with proactively installed safety features that I always recommend to most places we stay.
The area is very quiet and safe with lush trees and views.
It was a good value all things considered and would definitely stay again.
This was our first time staying at this property. The location is Great! Enjoyed just about everything about the property. The bathrooms are a little smaller than we’re used to - but it was just a week stay. The back fishing dock is set for replacement. Would love to stay here again if it gets replaced. The home is so long we hardly knew our family members were in their bedroom down the hall. My daughter and I enjoyed taking 2 of the bikes for a ride around the neighborhood.
A group from our office rented this property for a convention nearby. The pictures matched the property and the house was great. The property owners were in communication with us a day or two before going, they were very accommodating and nice to deal with. Thank you, for an enjoyable trip to HHI.
We enjoyed our week here. The house is located in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. The house was furnished comfortably, the kitchen was well equipped , beds were comfortable and we liked sitting on the new deck. It was also nice to have use of the nice beach chairs and bikes that were included.
The property’s close location to the beach can’t be beat! It’s an easy walk through the neighborhood. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck that overlooks the backyard into the adjacent waterway—we saw lots of wildlife and a few kayakers. Additionally, we loved that the host provides several bikes for guests to use during your stay.
We enjoyed our stay in July. The property was very clean, and there was plenty of space for my family of four and small dog. The house had everything we needed and was in good shape. Some travelers commented about the dated decor, but it didn’t bother us since everything was in good working order. The street is nice and quite. We will stay here again in the future.
Great place and clean. As advertised. We had other family staying at a different house closer to the beach that we used as a “home base” so we really didn’t use this property much for anything other than sleeping and showering. It’s a very spacious house. Good clean beds. Beautiful backyard area with baby deer. Great for 3 couples.

Family Vacation
The house needs major upgrading and a deep cleaning. The kitchen light kept going out while trying to cook. The walls are water stained and ceilings are need of repair. The garage door had to be opened manually and the garage was full of junk. The house is in a lovely neighborhood but has been neglected.
This house was excellent for 3 couples. Beds were all comfortable. Would recommend bringing your own laundry detergent, dish washing liquid, dishwasher powder or pods and tissues. None of that was provided. Bikes were old and not great so would recommend renting nicer ones. Overall a good experience!! Would come back again.
Had a great vacation. Loved the area, neighborhood, location. Easy to walk or ride to the beach everyday. House as described mostly. Did Need to bring/get some basics of own supplies: laundry detergent, dishwasher, soaps, paper towels, napkins, condiments, extra towels, etc.
some issues with wifi but owners were very friendly and worked hard to try to get fixed as we were working virtually.
Thank you

Family getaway
House is in a great area in Palmetto Dunes. The grounds around the house are in terrible shape. Curb appeal needs work especially with all the surrounding houses so beautiful. Needs lots of work. Inside is not to bad just dated.
We know HHI because my wife’s late mother lived there for 35 years after retirement. We moved her to live with us in 2020 after COVID hit and she died in late 2022 at 96. We were returning for a memorial service long after her condo was sold in late 2020. This house in Palmetto Dunes was perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. Clean, great location, easy access to the beach, shopping and the rest of HHI
