We enjoyed our stay at this well apportioned beautiful mountain home in Boone. The house is in a good location as it is close to ASU and Blowing Rock Rd. The house itself is well maintained and beautifully decorated. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a formal dining room with upscale utensils and dinnerware. There are also outdoor areas too and I enjoyed coffee on the patio in the morning. The beds were comfortable. The house was spotless. I would stay here again without hesitation

Charles was an excellent communicator from the beginning to the end of the process. The house is well located in Boone and convenient to other locations such as Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock. We were there for a few days to escape some summer heat. During those days we visited many locations in the area. The house is so inviting (it immediately feels like a favorite aunt's house), that went spent one day at the house just to relax. So many relaxing places inside the house and in outside areas.If you enjoy taking time to relax and exploring small towns, Charles will ensure your stay is wonderful.

We had a wonderfully seamless weekend-stay with our family of four. Communication with host was great & was even given a heads up to be on the lookout for wildlife. When we arrived, we saw two large doe in the front yard. Views from the home porch are beautiful! Many outdoor options for dining. We were even able to use fire pit. Absolutely felt like a cozy getaway with all the necessary amenities. So much personalization & character to this property! Really felt like a home away from home. We will be back.

House was clean and larger than expected. Amenities were as described, and location was convenient. Host was responsive and helpful, though I didn't really need help for anything other than a question about how quickly the roads tend to get treated in that area (fairly quickly).Would stay again.

We found it very comfortable and in a great location. We were there for a motorcycle ride and the location gave us differant ways to start are rides. Work great for us and we had a great time.

Clean. Great communication. Large sun room and living and dining rooms. Good kitchen area. Not an issue for us, but be aware that there is one bathroom and there is a set of stairs to the entrance. 10 minutes to Boone. Hilly!

Relaxing Place for Friends!

The photos don't do it justice. A beautiful, quiet home with great spaces to hang out with friends and a good location for Boone or Blowing Rock. We would love to stay here again. The only thing is, if you're big wifi people you might not like the Internet speed. Lots of buffering on the tv when accessing wifi, but that didn't bother us.

Over and Above & A Cute Home

There was A LOT of snow on the day of our arrival. Charles was excellent about keeping us up to date on expected weather, clearing the drive, and making sure we knew where to find a shovel and salt. Even sent over a neighbor the next morning to clear the driveway a second time. The home itself is comfortable and VERY well supplied. From extra linens to spices to dishes, etc, this is one of the best equipped VRBOs I've ever stayed in. We hope to return in the spring or summer when we can better use and appreciate the home's many outdoor spaces as well. An exceptional visit. Thank you.

Fabulous House!

The house was perfect for our family and friends to gather to celebrate our youngest's ASU graduation. It had two living room areas which was ideal, and a large dining table that we were all able to sit down and eat. The house was warm and cozy and comfortable. We would definitely go there again!

We loved our quick stay here! The location was great and we could get to downtown within 5 minutes. Felt remote enough to have some quiet mountain time. The sunroom was fantastic!

Close to ASU, but secluded!

The location was perfect and the place was very clean. Large yard, patio, gigantic sunroom! Cozy and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Nothing bad to say! I'll definitely be back!

Disappointed

This is a charming cottage that is in desperate need of attention. There is so much "stuff" in the house that it is overwhelming. To add insult to injury, it needs a serious cleaning. We left 1 day early.
