About this property

Location, Location Location!! Just steps from Elk Ave!

Lovely 3 bedroom 2 bathroom townhome (duplex) in the heart of downtown Crested Butte. Conveniently located two blocks from downtown for dining, shopping and entertainment. The free shuttle stop across the street, offers access to Mt. Crested Butte where you will find world class skiing, boarding, hiking, and biking.

The home has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms which sleeps six comfortably. The sunny second floor has a generous size kitchen, dining area, large comfy sectional with internet enabled TV plus, a large DVD collection for guests to choose from. A sunny deck off of the living room houses a grill and dining area complete with mountain views. There is a fully fenced backyard available to our guests. The yard is private and accessible from the house.

This property can be rented out together with the other side of the duplex, making the total bedrooms 6. Please reach out with any questions you may have.

Bedrooms are as follows: (1) Queen Bed, (1) Queen Bed, and (1) Twin Bunk bed.

**This property is pet friendly. Our pet policy is as follows: We allow up to two dogs in the property. There is a $250 refundable pet deposit and a $25 a day pet fee per dog. We do not allow cats.**

**We require one of two options for you regarding damage protection. We recommend you purchase damage protection for $55. This covers you for up to $3,000 in damages that could occur to the property during your stay. Or you can choose to pay a $1000 refundable damage deposit. When booking directly online please let us know in the notes which option you would like.**

Book through Peak Property Management and Sales and receive special discounts for ski and snowboard rentals through Christy Sports and Black Tie Ski Rentals!

Parking Plan: There are two uncovered parking spaces in the driveway. Any additional vehicles can park on the side streets. Please adhere to the winter parking rules and regulations. No parking overnight on Elk Ave.

There is an EV CHARGING STATION for guest use.

Great location

We had a great visit with our son’s family and grandkids. Backyard was very convenient for a dog. The location was great, with a view of Mt Crested Butte. However the carpet is in need or updating. Thanks so much for a great time.

Ski get away

Wonderful location to catch the bus up to the ski hill. Close to groomed nordic trails to walk the dog. Close to grocery store. Would definitely stay here again for a quick get away!

Wonderful location

So much snow! We stayed for a short ski trip and loved the location and ease of walking to all our favorite spots downtown. The house was clean, spacious for 4 and 2 dogs, and quiet. Will be looking for this place in the future!

Easy Elk Avenue access

I stayed during June for 3 nights and the location was exactly what I wanted - close to Elk Avenue as well as to Clark's (the grocery store). I liked that the second floor had the kitchen and family room. I recommend to to others looking for convenience of town.

This is a great rental very close to Elk. We could walk everywhere! The views from the deck are fantastic and the yard is cute...and fenced if you have a pet. Spacious living space upstairs with 3 bedrooms on the ground floor.

Fourth of July Wedding Weekend

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at the property. As advertised, the location was a perfect walking distance to the venues the wedding party selected on Elk Ave. The house was the right size for the four of us and was very quiet (even on the 4th of July!).

Close to lovely downtown Crested

This property is fine - great downstairs shower, but the mattresses need updating and the carpets need replacing - but 99% of the reason to stay is the location (as in the title). Just a 5-minute walk to all amenities Crested Butte has to offer. So much fun to be able to get up, walk to Camp 4 Coffee before the crowds arrive and just chill.

Great location

Nice place close to store and main drag. All was good with the exception of TV reception/streaming - didn't work half the time. Bunk room is suitable only for kids and is very small. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Xmas in CB

The location was great! Close to town and an easy shuttle to the mountain for skiing. We had an issue with the smoke detector going off twice and we were unable to reach it. The property management responded quickly both times (on Christmas) and resolved the issue. The beds needed updating but, otherwise, it was a great stay for my family.

4th of July weekend

Location is perfect. Easy to walk two blocks to town and not have to worry about parking. Had an issue with the keyless system, it did not lock vs unlock immediately and took a few tries each time we left the rental. We did reach out to management who said they would change the battery while we were out but it was still touch and go all weekend. Overall very comfortable space, kitchen is well equipped. Only other issue was our neighbors. Did not realize this was a duplex and you could hear other renters through bedroom wall and outside of our room as they were extremely loud all weekend. Granted it was a holiday weekend. The rest of the neighborhood was very quiet and cute.

Hi Khristin, Thank you for your review! I am sorry to hear about the keyless entry lock. We weren't aware it was still having issues after maintenance stopped by the first time. We are going to be replacing the lock so this will clear up any further issues. Yes, this unit is a duplex. I did add a note in the description that it's a townhome/duplex to clear up any confusion there. 4th of July can definitely get crazy here! Convenient location

Home was perfect for two adult and two teens to rest and relax between hiking, biking, shopping and eating! Easy walk to elk, coffee shop around the corner and breakfast just a block away. Also super convenient to the grocery store for any needs.
