These 2 attached rentals, each having beds for 8, are very dated but located well! It’s closed to Face Rock which provides lots of good beach time. Our family of 16, ages 4 to 86, found on rainy days during the winter, our lodging is very small for a family reunion in Bandon!

Picture is misleading, no private beach access. Vacasa reps didn’t have a good understanding of kitchenware. Deck needs some repair. Location is awesome. Public beach access is close. Great spot for 13 member family and two dogs.

The house was in a beautiful location. The house was clean, but could use some maintenance specifically on windows and blinds. The main issues seem to be with Vacasa. They did not provide the door code, and then were very slow to correct it after messaging and a phone call with nearly half an hour on hold. They also seem keen on keeping cost down by providing only a sample quantity of dish soap, and one dishwasher pod for a week long stay. In the future I will avoid Vacasa managed rental properties.

Great set up for large groups and dogs

Nothing fancy but perfect for our large group and three dogs. The beach access needs a little work (very wet and slippery with a loose handrail) but lovely to be right on the beach. The two front bedrooms had sitting areas overlooking the ocean. Bring outdoor chairs for the backyard as there is no patio furniture.

Pet Friendly Beach Side Lodging

You are paying for the view and central location to beach access and town. The condos were clean and very pet friendly. The building and furniture is gently worn and you can tell that only vacationers ever stay here. We fit eight adults and two dogs in both condos and were able to gather for meals or to put together a puzzle. Be aware that the upstairs bathroom is a Jack and Jill, so you will be sharing it with the other upstairs bedroom.

Views of the Ocean were great , property was clean. Exterior entry light was burned out and so had to use the digital entry pad at night. WIF did not work - unable to access with the password provided in either unit. ( rented both ) No response when I emailed Vacasa on this.

The views are amazing but the house…meh

There is absolutely no private beach access even though it is mentioned in the property description. The views from the property were amazing but the house itself needs some updates, kitchen chairs were wobbly and no outside seating to speak of. We rented both condos and both had a smell of urine/dog. The kitchen was lacking in adequate dish rags and towels and one condo did not have a dish drying rack. The deck is full of loose boards and is far from safe. It is only a short walk to the public Facerock park but we were expecting our own private access, thus the reason we chose this property. Property management was no help in making the matter right, in terms of a price break or even a later check out. As beautiful as the views were, the house is in need of some updates and TLC. We will not be back.

Did it’s job

We had a large group so the house was big enough for all of us to fit. However, it needs a lot of TLC. The couches, chairs and “king bed” were all very uncomfortable. The deck outside needs work. It was a hazard for our littles and elderly. The walk down to the beach was not suitable for our older guests but it’s did say at the house to “use the stairs to the beach at your own risk.” The curtains in the shower need changed!!! They were slimy!!! Overall I think it’s just a lot of little things being over looked or put off. These condos could be amazing with just a little more effort!

Poorly cleaned and no real attempt to help from Vacasa

There was a distinct musty foot odor throughout the place. There was some small gross debris in the toilet. The carpets were damp. Doorknobs and sink handles were loose or missing. The beach and view were awesome but we expected far better service for a four night $7200 rental. The folks at Vacasa teaches words about how they cared but wouldn’t even extend our Checkout by one hour, claiming they needed that time for cleaning, which obviously they did not use prior to our arrival. I think you can do a lot better for 7000 dollars.

FUN ON THE BEACH

We rented both condos – a family reunion of 12 (7 adults, 5 children). Due to the location, beach access, views, and generally comfortable condition of the condos, we would give this property a 10/10. However, the condition of the beach access and response to our mouse problem caused us to lower the review to 7/10. The condos are comfortable. The site is beautiful and THE one big selling point is the private beach access – However, this path needs a lot of work. In its present state it is not particularly safe – and watch out for the uber-prickly gorse and blackberries. (Nearby public beach access was quite handy for the less nimble of us.) The beach is wide and sandy, and we all loved it. The kids dug holes, flew kites, and played games. Those of us who run or walk for exercise loved it. Tidepools abound with vibrant green anemones, mussels, gooseneck barnacles, and multi-colored starfish. Communication with Vacasa was easy and response was quick – however we had mice and despite us notifying management the first day we arrived, no one ever came to try to resolve the issue. A plumber did come out to fix a clogged drain the same day we notified management. Also be advised that many of the towels would NOT absorb water – didn’t know that was possible.

Stunning location and very comfortable, but a few maintenance issues

We rented both units and the homes are in a perfect location, stunning views, very comfortable, and a nice layout. The front yard was great for dogs and hanging out, and the private path to the beach is awesome. King bed upstairs was super comfortable as well. Just a few items that could use some service and attention: Screen door to deck was shredded Deck glass outer door doesn’t lock Stove - can’t read dials, front right burner very slow to heat up No medium sized pots - all very large and one very small No kitchen towels Fan in downstairs bathroom doesn't work Twin bed frames VERY squeaky Otherwise, lovely! We would rent again.

Overall our stay was good. The house was clean but the carpet was extremely stained, to the point it needs replaced. The kitchen had what we needed. We rented both sides so we had extra fridge space. The beds were very noisy but comfortable. Would be nice to have a ceiling fan in the upstairs bedrooms as the rooms get warm. The trail down to the beach was terrible. It was so overgrown, spots were covered in mud and had some boards thrown on top of it. When you would step on them they would slide down the hill. Very dangerous. Multiple members of our group couldn't even go down it. It really wouldn't take much to repair and trim back the weeds.

Beach path unaccessible

Noisy bad, great view, the biggest thing is that the beach was not accessible from the property. Is there is there is a path leading down but it’s full of weeds and turns into a jungle with no clear defined path. Unless you’re Dora the explorer, don’t attempt it.
