Awesome place if you just want to sit back & relax...we pretty much stayed down at the boathouse all the time...swimming, fishing and kayaking. We will definitely be trying to come back here again...highly recommended

This was a third year at Sunshine Cove. We just love this house, there’s enough room for all 5 of us, the views are amazing and we absolutely love spending our days at the boathouse. This year we were happy to find new mattresses and new carpet. Great additions to already wonderful home. Megan and Dan are great hosts and we can’t wait to go again next year!

Had a wonderful time in spite of the weather! Kitchen was well stocked and Megan was very responsive. The view from the dock was beautiful and the kids had a great time with the kayaks and sunboards. Would definitely stay here again!

This house has everything you need, even in bad weather. There's ping pong, a basketball shoot game, board games and puzzles to name a few. The best part is the dock with lots of room, lots of furniture, a bar and refrigerator. They also have kayaks and paddleboards to use, which were great to use, being in the quiet cove. Just FYI - the ninja course that's mentioned is for kids - or adults under 5 ft and 90 lbs! The kitchen has everything you need and the fridge is large - plus, there's a second one downstairs. Another great feature is that this house includes sheets and bath towels...and not scratchy hotel towels...NICE towels! The only negative I could mention is everything is about 30 minutes away, but if you don't go very many places, it's perfect!

Long overdue family reunion

We had a wonderful week. The kitchen was very well equipped, check in and response from owners was great. The ping pong table, kayaks, canoe and paddle boards were very fun for all ages. We particularly loved the boat house!

Great Family Stay

House was clean, boat dock was a great size for fishing and the boat as well as for the kids to swim. The layout of rooms was great to give adults separation for some quiet time! The owners were very responsive and super friendly. Would definitely stay again! Just make sure you have a broom handy to sweep off all the spiderwebs!

This was our 3rd year here and already booked for next year! Such a nice relaxing vacation located in a great spot on the lake. Dan was so accomodating to our needs and cannot appreciate it enough. Looking forward to next year! If you have a chance and like Mexican I highly recommend the r Mexican restaurant less than 5 minutes from the house. The best margaritas and delicious food

Great place

Great place to stay! We loved all the room on the boat dock. The home and property was well maintained and clean. Plus the use of the kayaks and paddle boards were a great feature also. We’re hoping to make it back again next year we enjoyed it that much!

This is our 5th year staying at a lake house,and all of my family and friends said this house was the best,great location,nice and clean,the dock was set up great and clean,and Megan and Dan where great,and the house has everything you need.

Another fabulous stay!

My fourth stay at Sunshine Cove and we still love it! We rented a boat for most of our time there and as we looked at other houses on the lake we kept saying over and over how ideal "our" dock was in comparison to the others we saw. Already looking to book again :)

Quiet Sunshine Cove

Wonderful Lake House

We enjoyed another wonderful stay at Sunshine Cove, Lake Anna! Megan and Dan are excellent hosts and were easy to communicate with any questions or information about the home. The home is well appointed and very comfortable for our family thanksgiving. Excellent location with a great dock area and beautiful views of the lake! I highly recommend Sunshine Cove if you're looking to stay on Lake Anna!

Fabulous Holiday Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time at Sunshine Cove. The property was wonderful - clean, well-stocked, comfortable, nicely decorated and a good layout for multiple families. We spent the majority of our time at the dock swimming, floating, kayaking, fishing and watching football. I would highly recommend, and we will be back for sure. Thanks for hosting us Dan & Megan.

Great Hosts

We had a great time at the property. The house is a great fit for our family. The hosts are very responsive and message back very promptly if you were to have any questions. We have so much fun at the dock swimming and using paddleboards. There is the boat rental very close by also if you are looking into renting a boat. The sandy beach area is great for our kids that are in the 6-9 year old range. We had a great stay!

Great Multi Family Stay on the Lake in Fall

Three families with 5 kiddos enjoyed all this waterfront property had to offer. Two of the brave ones even jumped in the lake! The ninja line and sand pit were hits! Parents enjoyed being able to relax on the deck and watch kiddos from above. I bet this house is amazing in the summer months!

Amazing location and boathouse!

The house was laid out perfectly. Lots of indoor and outdoor space. The boathouse was roomy and allowed us to have 2 boats and 2 jet skis for the week. We spent everyday there…swimming, kayaking, and just jumping in the water. Nice quite cove but less than a minute to the open lake. House was very clean and suited our family perfectly. Thank you for having us!
