The home has a lockbox for entry. The lockbox code will be sent via text on the morning of the reservation. The Welcome Guide in the home will include the information about the home, wifi, trash day, etc. in addition to information about the local area. A contact number is in the book to reach me when needed.
Englewood is a quaint community that is known for Mom and Pop shops as opposed to franchise and big box stores. Manasota Key has several unique dining experiences with live music and entertainment nightly. Manasota Key Road extends the length of the 11 mile island. Hugged by an oak canopy, it makes for a great sight seeing trip whether by bike or car. The road is narrow so proceed cautiously and be mindful of bicyclists and pedestrians.
Our guests have full access to the main home. There is no parking in the garage area as the owners leave a vehicle there. However there is access into the garage area. The guest home will not be occupied during your stay, but available for your use with an additional fee. Beach chairs, fishing poles and water toys available for your use and are conveniently stored in the garage. The laundry room is there as well. The property is gated but gate remains opened. Just outside the lanai a strip of sand in place to plant your beach chair and allow the salt air and sunshine rejuvenate your spirit.
Drive through the gated entrance and this private oasis is yours to use exclusively. Tropical landscape decorates the outside giving the impression of resort style living. As you enter through the screened, pool area you will immediately feel an overwhelming sense of calm. The floor plan is open with panoramic views of the Gulf. Absolutely amazing. Push open the sliders and the outside seating area will be your primary place to eat, relax and take it all in. The home is equipped with all the modern conveniences of home so you need not want for anything. Bring the snorkeling gear or the scuba tanks, because the water is fertile just beyond the break. World renown fishing. This is right here in your backyard! The master features king sized accommodations and various sleeping arrangements can be set up in the guest suite. This home is the perfect backdrop as you create life long memories. The cottage features a kitchenette and sunroom that can be converted for sleeping. Dedicated private bedroom on the backside of cottage with access to bathroom and a walk-in shower. If you need the space, the cottage can be rented for an additional $150 per night. The occupancy level for main house including the cottage cannot exceed 6 guests in total.
A car is recommended . You can also rent bicycles, which is a great means to explore the immediate area. Uber serves well when going out for the night. There is also a shuttle service on the Key that works exclusively for tips. Information will be provided on site in the welcome guide.
There are security cameras pointed at the entry of the front door, pool door and guest house entry door. As part of the reservation a pool and security addendum will need to be signed. Pool heat is available at an additional fee. The pool is propane heated and there is a heating fee $65 Per Day. Available during cooler temperatures of the year. To keep the property well maintained there is landscaping work done each Monday morning commencing at 9am.
Effective for reservations booked after June 17, 2021:
$50 of the cleaning fee is subject to refund if the following list is completed in its entirety and the agreement is signed and dated by the party who initially reserved the home. Please review the following list in advance.
TO DO:
1. One (1 )set of sheets can be left per bed to launder-all additional sets must be washed, dried, folded, and returned to the appropriate bedroom closet. If any of the sheets you have washed come out stained, please place them in a pile on the kitchen table for our cleaners.
2. One (1) towel can be left per guest to be laundered. All other towels must be washed, dried, folded, and returned to the linen closet. If any of the towels that you washed come out stained, we ask that those towels are placed in a pile on the kitchen table for our cleaners.
3. Please leave any beds used beds unmade. Please place all used sheets, linens, and towels by the washer and dryer.
4. All dishes should be run through the dishwasher the night before departure and dishes returned to the appropriate kitchen cabinet. Any pans that did not come clean should be washed by hand, dried, and returned to the appropriate cabinet. Any dishes produced from breakfast may be placed into the dishwasher and dishwasher started prior to your departure. Please do not place any soiled dishes or utensils back in the cabinets.
5. Refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen cabinet food contents should be properly disposed of before your departure.
6. All trash in the home should be bagged and then placed into the curbside can.
7. Please do not place the outside trash receptacles on the curb unless the staff of Realty by Dale Thomas has reached out and requested so.
8. Please return any moved items to where you had found them upon arrival. The home should be left in a neat and orderly condition. If any furniture has been moved please return it to its original location
9. Make sure all fans and lights are turned off. Please turn off all televisions and radios.
10. Please make certain both the oven and stovetop are turned off . Please unplug the small appliances on the kitchen counter.
11. Please make sure all windows and doors are locked.
12. Please lock the front door and return the keys to the lockbox (as applicable) if you have removed them. Please make sure the garage door is completely closed.
13. Place the garage remote and the spare key (if applicable) on the kitchen counter.
*Charges will incur as a result of lost or missing keys and/or remotes.
** We thank you in advance for your assistance. If all of the tasks are completed, the agreed-upon cleaning fee return will be initiated within 7 days.
