The perfect getaway spot for vacation or business trip! New decorated cozy efficiency 450 sqft unit. Queen bed, duel recliner sofa, flat screen TV, kitchenette, counter bar for eating, bath w/shower. Lots of storage in antique wall cabinet. On 2nd floor w/private entry. Step out your door for bay views & old oaks surrounding you. Grill on your deck. Free paddleboards/kayaks/bicycles/fish off docks. Enjoy our new Hideaway Greenhouse: sit, sip and relax!

The space
Ample parking, including your bike or boat trailer. You can tie your boat up at one of our 2 docks for free too. We provide life vests, water shoes for all our avail. water activities on this property. We are close to all your needs for shopping, tours spots, beaches, events, and the local airports. We have a community laundry room for convenience of our guests as well as a beverage vending machine on the property. Grills avail too. Chuck is a VIP host level.

Other things to note
This is an efficiently apt. - there is a mini frig, a small sink, and a nice 2 burner induction cooktop and a new grill right out your front door.

We came to Panama City for a family member’s destination wedding and the Pelican’s Nest was perfect! Great location, very clean, lots of great amenities! LOVED the two docks! Beautiful views! Will definitely come back for a relaxing weekend!

Pelican cove

We enjoyed our stay and the space was quaint with a nice view of the water. Cooling system was lacking as you could not view the thermostat tucked under a counter and it was supplemented by a small separate fan in front of it on a stool to “push” cool air in to the room. They should update the cooling system so guests can adjust thermostat and not have a fan with it’s noise and air constantly running. Nice grounds to walk and delightful greenhouse to enjoy. Owner was very sweet and thoughtful.

A fabulous setting on a quiet bayou with spectacular sunset views. The private balcony area complete with table and chairs is an excellent place to chill out as was the landing dock area, again with seating to relax and get a closer view of the bayou and the wildlife.

A short but sweet stay.

We only had 2 nights and enjoyed them tremendously. Our place was small but served our needs well. Chuck was very nice and helpful and responded quickly to our questions. Oh, and I loved the red refrigerator and sitting on the dock at night.

Exceeded Expectations!

We needed a place to stay for a long weekend. The hotel prices had sky rocketed so I looked here and found that The Pelican's Nest at The Hideaway was available. The photos don't do the nest justice!. It was a cozy spot with everything we needed. I loved every morning walking out on the deck on the pretty bayou. And it was convenient to where we wanted to go. Chuck, the owner, was on-site and friendly.. Highly recommend!

Beautiful studio apartment.

My Sister and I enjoyed the tree house deck . We had a birds eye view of the bay. Nice owner, very friendly . He took care of noise from loud music from another apartment below us. Helped me get a kayak in and out of the water. His family was very nice too. Nice washer and dryer. Everything was provided. The owner Chunk ask if we needed more coffee or toiletries. Those are things we are use to buying wherever we have stayed . I have already booked our Christmas vacation here for 2020. Safe and very clean !

The views are awesome, the room is very comfortable, and the owner Chuck, is so very friendly and works hard around here and does everything possible to make everyone comfortable. The prices are so low, as Chuck said, he's no here to price gouge.

Best vacation ever!!

This place was amazing! The owner was friendly and very accommodating. We had everything we needed, and if we needed something else he was right there to take care of us. He showed us around the property personally, and made lots of fun activities available for us. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone. Very convenient location to restaurants, activities and the beaches. What a gem this place was!!
