We are the proud new owners of this spacious townhouse on the Sea of Cortez! Perfect for true beach lovers & golfers too! Playa Miramar is a peaceful paradise. This beautiful place will give you the truly oceanfront experience that you desire. No elevators, no roads to cross, simply open the back door & your are at the beach. Amazing resort with restaurants, pools & pristine golf course next door at the Mayan Palace.
This is the place...
Spacious 1800 sq. ft. townhouse with high ceilings and tile floors. 2 floors. Upstairs 2 big bedrooms with their own ensuit bathrooms. Oceanfront balcony off the master bedroom is dreamy in the morning with a cup of coffee.
Downstairs, large open concept living room & kitchen. Small bedroom and separate full bathroom downstairs as well for those that don't do stairs.
There is a beautiful resort next door, less than a mile down the beach. It is called Grand Mayan Palace Resort & Spa. It is very welcoming to guests that are not staying there but want to dine at the restaurants, play a round of golf or even have a drink by the pools. It is a 15 minute walk down the beach or a 5 minute drive.Reserving with us will give you access to the Grand Mayan Palace if you want to enjoy the restaurants, pools and the Lazy River, there is a parking space for visitors.

Great amily Spot

We loved the property! It was great for a quiet family get away. The only negative was the distance from town, groceries, restaurants (although we were able to use the nearby resort through the rental company). All in all, we loved our stay.

Comfortable and right on the beach

We always look for a on-the-beach, family and dog friendly rental. This fit the bill and was excellently appointed. Only lacked for a cheese grater. :)

Nice spot for a family getaway

Had a great relaxing time. Beach was very clean in comparison to the other beaches in RP. We were surrounded by 8 dolphins while swimming in the a.m. on the first day........then it happened all over again at the same time on the second day. The kids will never forget the experience

The property was well maintained had amazing views, the beach was perfect and it had everything we needed. The property manager (Carmen) was absolutely amazing and very accommodating and made things very easy for us. I would have given this 5 stars, but we booked with the promise of having access to the Vidanta resort, which was one of the main selling points as we have young kids. The first two times were great - the resort is half finished but the amenities are better than expected. The third time we went, however, we were denied entry by the guard, as they told us we weren't allowed in unless we ate at one of the restaurants. This was frustrating and and trying to explain this to 3 kids was not exactly easy. This should either be rectified or you need to state that access to the Kivoya is contingent on you spending money there.

We take a few trips to Rocky Pointe every year and this was the first time staying here. It was extremely clean and very comfortable for a family of 4 and our two miniature Shih Tzu dogs. Very close to the water and very sandy smooth beach area with no weeds or rocks to navigate around. Only thing we missed having was a washer and dryer but other than that we will be staying here in the future and would highly recommend this house to everyone! Thanks for a great place to relax. Don

Very nice location on the beach!

Everything was as described and the house was very clean! Comfortable furniture and most of the items you will need, except the master bed was quite hard and uncomfortable. I would bring dish towels and extra bathroom towels, as we needed more. Patio is next to neighbor patio, so not completely private. Staff is wonderful and will help with anything!

On the beach

The location is great, the amenities are limited. One small tv that did not work. Dishwasher did not work. Be prepared if renting lithos place with own towels, toiletries etc. Great ac and location were highlights

An awesome extended weekend get-a-way

This place and location was exactly what we needed. After not traveling for 2 years and still wanting to take precautions, we were on a vacation but still distant from others. This is our first time renting like this so we did not know what to expect. The place was great, but it did not feel like a home. The basics were there, kitchenware, pans, plates, blender, coffee pot, etc., but there were no basic cooking supplies, salt & pepper, cooking oil, etc. This could be because of the beach location. Other than that, This was a great get-a-way house.

We were charged more then listed for 2 small dogs. Garage door would not open, no tv at all, 4 forks for a 6 person stay, dinning chair covers ripped and sink I middle, also the legs were unstable, bed was bad could feel the springs. No can opener, bathroom holder was lose on one side. Front door jam was cracked as if someone tried to break in at one time.

Decent Place

Carmen and Alma Rosa were very responsive to my inquiries and a pleasure to deal with via email and telephone. Checkin was a breeze and the Kivoya office is on the way to the rental. Positive: comfy enough and beautiful beach. Occasional private security patrols were conducted as is commonplace in many areas in PP. Items to note: Bring kitchen towels, coffee filters, bath soap and a cutting board as the property has none. I would also recommend bringing your own pillows. The amenities stated in the description does not list a blender but kitchen photos shows a blender - just understand that there is no blender. There is no washer/dryer so account for that when planning what and how much to pack. The grill is shared with adjoining rental unit and is not functional for use with propane. We brought our own small charcoal grill as we always do when in PP. Lastly, the garage door is not functional but we didn’t need the garage and parking was adequate for our 3/4 ton truck in the driveway.

Nos encanto despertar enfrente del mar ! La puerta del garaje no estaba en las mejores condiciones pero no ocupamos usarla para saber si funciona o no. We loved being ocean side, falling asleep and waking up to the ocean with a beautiful beach was incredible! The garage door was damaged but we did not need to use it so I cannot verify if it works. The best, woud love to return soon!

Ok but fun

Was a lil hard to find, I recommend checking in while still daylight. At first great contact with staff via email. Nice knowing there was security. Just stepping out and onto beach was awesome and so was view from kitchen and master. Place needs a lil TLC. Housecleaning did’t show up and ran out of TP kitchen napkins, and TV wasn’t working at first, we didnt mind going into town for supplies n did a lil shopping. (Town 20 min away) Also when we got there, floor didn’t look like it was mopped. Mattresses were way too firm (old). We still had a great time. Id gove this place 3 stars.

Very Dirty Property Bad Experience

Our experience at this property was the worst with any VRBO we’ve ever used. First, our check in was at 4pm and the property was not ready until almost 6pm, I had younger children who had to wait outside the home until the maid service let us in. Once we entered the property it reeked of fish, I’m not sure if it was the previous guests who might have had fresh fish or the water used to mop the home but it lasted about 2-3 days. The house itself needs a lot of TLC it was dirty all around, the couches were very stained, the walls are stained, the upstairs guest shower does not have enough water pressure as it barley comes out of the shower head, and the downstairs bedroom does not have AC (the only room that doesn’t) which makes it very warm. The property did not have very many kitchen necessities, for example, no cups, no dish soap, no basic condiments, etc. The pillows for the rooms were pretty nasty, they were old and stained, the TV only worked half of the time, the WiFi wasn’t very good, and the upstairs sliding door did not lock. In addition, there was no clear directions for the check in process, I reached out asking if there was a door lock code or something to get in, the property managers simply said to check in at Encanto Living but the building where you pick up the key is called “ Kiyova we drove around looking for Encanto Living and it took us a while to find the correct building. This was the first VRBO that I used that did not provide clear instructions or an accurate address, I had to ask the day of for all this information. The property is pretty deep into the area, plan for at least a 15 minute drive to simply get out to the main road and another 30 minutes to get into town for restaurants, gas, etc. Upon checkout I asked if there was anything they could do for the late check in and inconveniences but they couldn’t do anything. Overall, the dirtiness of the home, lack of supplies & directions, late check in, and everything else, I would not recommend this property to anyone with a family or for those who want to explore the town. The only positive is that you are right on the beach.
