Completely renovated and modern 1823 four bedroom Federal-style colonial located in Downtown Brandon. The home sits on an acre of land that abuts the Neshobe River, steps from Brandon's shops, restaurants, brewery, bakery, art galleries, grocery store, etc.

Enjoy refinished hardwood floors throughout; chefs kitchen including 48" double-oven six-burner stove, two dishwashers, and two sinks equipped with disposals; game room with pool and shuffleboard tables, dining room (seating for up to 12), living room with large sectional; loft area overlooking the living room and back yard, fully air conditioned, and more!. One guest bathroom on the first floor and 3 bathrooms upstairs that serve the four bedrooms. Flexible bedroom layout allows 1-3 families to comfortably reside. This house was just great! Beautifully renovated old house with lots of amenities to make it very comfortable. The location, just off the Central Park in Brandon was perfect for restaurants and strolling the downtown. The host was attentive and easy to reach. Highly recommended this house.

80th Birthday Celebration

This home in Brandon is a real gem! Absolutely perfect for our 3 generation get-together — clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished and decorated with fantastic kitchen and living spaces too. Great location in town with short walk to market when we wanted to eat in, or restaurants when we chose to eat out. Definitely recommend!

Perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s graduation!

The house was perfect in every way! We had the best setting to get together with family to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Middlebury College. The home was set-up perfectly to entertain a large group. Beautifully decorated and super clean. Every attention to detail was met. The very best vrbo we’ve ever stayed in.

One of the best!

We use Vrbo a fair amount and this was definitely one of the best all around. It was clean and comfortable, without being cluttered. The location was absolutely perfect. We loved the shuffleboard, PacMan arcade game and pool table. We had everything we needed. I am only sorry that it had to be such a short stay.

I stay here each year when I visit my son at Middlebury. I have written longer reviews previously but wanted to make sure that everyone reading knows how great this house is! A+ for cleanliness, location, amenities and host is always available if needed (but we have never needed him because everything is always perfect)!

Awesome!

This is the 2nd but not last time a group of friends gathered in this amazing home . The restoration of this home and grounds creates a sense of historic wonder that is married with modern day amenities. The location within walking distance to everything in town is another perk that comes with the whole rental package.

Wonderful amazing home!

Words are insufficient for how beautiful the restoration of this home was. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely and there was more to use and enjoy within the home than we had time for so we will be back! My golf buddies are still talking about how spoiled we all felt. The location was perfect as well and Lance was really great but we didn’t need a thing! Feeling blessed!

Absolutely Wonderful!

We first found this wonderful property and Owner when looking for a place to stay for a state golf championship that was being held nearby. We have come back for three years straight for tournaments as this impressive house and surroundings create a magical environment and a great way to enjoy once another's company in beautiful surroundings and a bit of luxury. The tournament cycle is over so the group is busy looking to create new reasons to come back next year! Thank you to Lance for sharing this special home with us!

Middlebury Feb Celebration Weekend

My family of 7 were lucky to stay in Lance's beautiful home. We were in town for a graduation and found the short commute to Midd a breeze. With two lovely fireplaces, an amazing (coffee-stocked) kitchen and dining room, shuffleboard, billiards (and much more), we had a warm and cozy place to be together on a very chilly weekend (-25°). There was room for all of us to laugh in one room and space to spread out for smaller quiet moments, too. We loved every moment. Lance was an excellent host, from the beginning of planning out this trip to the very end, checking to be sure we found everything we needed. This was our best VRBO experience ever! Thank you so very much.

Perfect house for our snowboarding trip

We are so glad that we found Lance's house for our weekend snowboarding trip in Killington. Lance is super attentive and friendly, the house is new, spacious, and extremely clean and comfy. All the beds, pillows, and linens are very comfortable, bathrooms are clean, the dining table is huge, the kitchen is beautiful and amazing with all the new and premium appliances, it has everything we need plus lots of coffee! Two fireplaces and easy thermo control in the house kept us warm and cozy, plus the pool table, shuffleboard, the list goes on. We love the place, but what we love the most is the host, Lance, he was kind, patience and understanding. He made our stay at his beautiful house fun and welcomed. From booking, check-in, during our stay to check-out, he was there to assist and to make sure we have a great time. Thank you Lance, both you and your house are amazing!

The house is gorgeous with beautiful accents that tie the house to the town history such as marble, cast iron, etc. It was nice to be a short walk to the restaurants in town and the grocery store. We enjoyed the games. The house worked out great for our family events in town. We are already planning our next stay.

My husband and I rented this house for our wedding weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We used the house for the bridal party to get ready as it is just a few steps away from the Brandon Inn where we got married. We also had our first look right out in the back yard and did some of our initial photographs. The house was extremely clean, beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with far more than the usual. And the bathrooms had plenty of linens and bath towels as well as hair dryers. We will fondly remember our stay here forever and hope to come back again someday.

The house was incredible - in wonderful shape for such an old home! Both beautiful and comfortable. The location was perfect and the amenities were terrific. It was perfect for our stay and bonus - we know the area so well that we knew the prior home owners! We had one small complaint - the ice maker in the refrigerator was not working. Normally this might not be that much of a problem, but it’s mid-summer and very hot, and we have a big family. Not the end of the world, but frustrating.

Another memorable trip to Brandon VT!

Once again, loved our time in Brandon. The house is perfect for family to gather, play, eat around the giant dining room table, and then take a walk in the snow down the quaint main street. Perfect VT experience.

Girls Weekend

You will not be disappointed! Lance has a beautiful home right in downtown Brandon. We had 7 girls and had plenty of room to park 3 cars in the spacious driveway. We hung out comfortably in the outdoor Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, enjoyed the beautifully big dining room table as well as the large comfy sectional to watch movies and hang with our morning coffees. There’s no need for your car as it’s an easy walk to the downtown restaurants, shops, Hannaford, Walgreens. Our favorite was 22 Park Eatery… delish! The house has so much space and was immaculate. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Truly a pleasure to be there. You will love the house and the town of Brandon. Just superb!
