Riverfront, Luray Caverns, Massanutten-Best fishing on the Shenandoah!

Welcome to Rock N’ Reel Riverfront Cabin! Nestled on the South Fork of the scenic Shenandoah River; This is a dream for both nature lovers and outdoors-men alike. Our cabin offers a private river lot with easy access to the river for our guests to enjoy small mouth bass fishing, swimming, tubing, or just relaxing around the fire pit, soaking in the beautiful panoramic view. Enjoy the 10' x 32' front deck over looking the Shenandoah River. The pictures doesn't do the view any justice.

The river is very easy to access there is no steep banks or steps, Its just an easy walk right into the water. The fishing is excellent as this section of the river is home to a bountiful habitat of both small and large mouth bass. If you are looking to float the river there is a public boat landing just up river that is the perfect place to start that will take you on a nice trip down river to the property. In the backyard of our cabin you will have the opportunity to view the historic Norfolk Southern Railroad which comes through maybe 1-3 times a day.

Inside offers a large living area with electric fireplace, three spacious bedrooms (1 full, 1 queen, 1 king), a newly renovated bathroom with washing machine/dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen with all the essential amenities. We offer Dish Networks top 120 package that provides, local channels, sports, etc. We have high speed WIFI by Hughes net. We also have a DVD player at our location with a selection of DVDs so our guests can cozy up and watch movies on those rainy, lazy days.

Due to the drought we was faced with recently, We have added a cistern. This water is hauled in from Bear Lithia Springs on a weekly basis based on consumption. We will switch back to our well as soon as the water table comes back up. Our cabin is just 15 miles from Massanutten Resort; where you can enjoy Skiing, Snow Boarding, Tubing, golfing, or enjoy a family fun day at their indoor/outdoor Water Park Resort.

The Shenandoah National Park is also close by which offers breathtaking views of the Shenandoah Valley from the Skyline Drive as well as many scenic nature trails for hiking.

Shenandoah Speedway is less than 6 miles away where every Saturday evening if asphalt racing is your thing you can watch legends, late models, mini cups etc.

Rudy’s Diner is the locally owned fireman themed restaurant serving delicious breakfast lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Rudy’s is less than 5 miles.

Beside Rudy’s Diner there is a duck pin bowling alley fun for all ages. T-Bowl lanes is the last sanctioned bowling alley in the state of Virginia. Come take a tour of the 1950’s Sherman Pinsetters. Message us for availability.

Luray Caverns is less than 15 miles away along with Luray Country Club if you want to play 18 holes of golf.
