Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat was spacious and has balconies on on the second and third levels with wonderful views over Elounda and Spirolunga. The only improvement I can suggest is to have a map that clearly shows the location of the flat in village with details on going under the road bridge and where to park a car.

Traditionell mit tollem Meerblick

Die Suite befindet sich im oberhalb Elounda angesiedelten Ort Epano Elounda. Man betritt sie über einen kleinen Innenhof. Es geht über steile Holztreppen in die verschiedenen Etagen. Der Holzboden knarzt bei jeder Bewegung. Herrlich! Die Räume sind dunkel und liebevoll eingerichtet - ein traditionelles Haus mit Geschichte. Auf zwei Ebenen gibt es Balkone, die einen fantastischen Blick aufs Meer bieten. Man findet immer ein beschattetes Plätzchen, wo man den Ausblick genießen kann. Während unseres Aufenthalts war es sehr heiß, so dass wir dankbar für die Klimaanlage waren. Unseren Mietwagen haben wir in der Nähe geparkt, aber die engen, oft steilen Straßen sind schon eine Herausforderung. Wir haben jede Gelegenheit genutzt, dass griechische Essen zu probieren und daher nicht selber gekocht. In der Nähe befindet sich das nette Restaurant Karambakios, in dem wir sehr lecker gegessen haben. Aber meistens sind wir nach Elounda gefahren, wo es Restaurants im Überfluss gibt. Wer also einen Urlaub in einem traditionellem Ort mit sensationellem Blick aufs Meer machen möchte, der ist hier genau richtig.
