A slice of paradise that felt remote yet was close to city center. Even nicer than the photos. Our concierge host Jorge made us feel especially welcome and pampered.

We had an amazing stay! The host went above and beyond after our original reservation was canceled, helping us get rebooked without any issues. They even arranged catering and a boat for our group, which made the trip seamless and so much fun. The house itself was clean, spacious, and perfect for a large group. Highly recommend this property and host for anyone coming to Austin!

Wonderful Family Celebration!

We stayed 2 nights at the Above Grand to celebrate my Mother's 80th birthday. We were a party of 13 , with ages ranging from 13-82. We had a spectacular time and really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Property was beautiful, well appointed, and the house manager (Rachelle) was available and amazing. Highly recommend this home!

The property was great and matched the photos we had seen online. Very clean, a smooth check in process and the team was easy to contact whenever we had any questions or needed anything for the house. Being right on the water in a great area outside Austin, comfortably able to house 20 guests, it was the perfect experience for our group and we had no complaints regarding our stay.

You could leave a balanced review like this:Overall, we had a great stay and found the property to be beautiful. Communication leading up to our trip was seamless, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout the process. There were, however, a few areas that could use improvement. The noise sensors seemed overly sensitive and were triggered even when noise levels were very reasonable. Several guests felt that the monitoring was somewhat intrusive and impacted their comfort during the stay.We were also utilizing the additional property across the street, which unfortunately did not have working Wi-Fi or a TV, making it difficult for guests staying there. Improving internet access throughout the entire property would greatly enhance the experience.A few maintenance issues should also be addressed. Some of the door locks were not functioning properly, and the ladder leading into the lake had not been maintained. It appeared to be attached to rotting wood and actually came loose, creating a potential safety concern.Despite these issues, the property itself was beautiful, and with some attention to maintenance and connectivity, it could provide an even better experience for future guests.
