We loved our stay at Storm Surge. The kitchen was clean and nicely stocked. We met Stewart, and he was very nice. The lagoon outside and the beach were fun. We enjoyed Gilligan’s putt-putt, Franks Outback, Pawleys Island Tavern and Krispy Kreme among other things. The villa was very comfortable, and we would definitely like to stay again.

So glad to find a place at Litchfield by the Sea that is pet friendly. Piper had a great time. Condo was well furnished for our needs since we do little cooking. It does need some updates. We enjoyed views of the lake and wildlife.Easy to make reservations and host was prompt with info.

Property location was great. It could use a deep cleaning but for a dog friendly place it was good. Had a very strange interaction with the owner Stewart when I asked if there was a grill onsite which it doesn’t but the neighbor was able to answer my questions. Overall the property was fine and we really liked the location.

About the host

The villa is only 200 yards to beach . Not 11 minutes like Vrbo states . They shouldn’t state that in my headline . purchased storm surge in 2018 . She went on vrbo in 2020 and exploded on the scene. She is the place to be. She is privately owned and , we are very hands on. She is always well maintained w integrity. We live in murrells inlet and handle everything ourselves . Pet fees apply $25 a day

Why they chose this property

It’s 200 yards from great beach w amenities. No rental company management to deal w . BEST DEAL All you do is get pass from main security gate and use code given to you by the owner . This property's loved and busy w happy guests. Rates are fair and easy check in and out . Please be transparent W w us . Only way we can help w issues

What makes this property unique

I love my HOA policy, beachside amenities and this low country area. The sea breeze here is phenomenal and there are no bugs! Beaufort County has the bugs...we allow pets and one day stays. . Private ownership
