Nice quiet location. Could have used a couple more kitchen items, steak knives, can opener . We enjoyed our time there.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Be aware the listing information is NOT correct!
Three bedrooms not five there are two other closets that had a bed wall to wall, they call bedrooms. No wrap around porch, the floor was dirty, the bedding was very clean and white! Heating unit did not provide proper heat, ran most of the time. Needed wood stove to provide enough heat. Needs TLC. Furniture was not adequate for the nine of us. Two of the chairs we could not use as they need to be glued. Internet was as listed.
If you are looking for a rustic cabin in a beautiful location, this is it! Don't expect luxury--this is an old cabin--do expect a very attentive owner, and a beautiful mountain location, close to the Shanandoah River, Luray Caverns, and Skyline Drive. Kristy immediately jumped to sort out the internet when it stopped working, on a Saturday, and spent several hours to fix and replace the router and cable. We highly recommend this cabin to those who are willing to exchange a McMansion for a more authentic cabin-in-the-woods experience!
It was nice to get out of our house during these quarantine times. We enjoyed this house's campfire, walking trails through the woods, and the spacious indoor area.
