About the host
Hosted by owner/property manager

Elaine and I are "Carolinians" living in Summerville, SC. Elaine is a retired teacher and I am a retired mechanical engineer. We are very excited about our new mountain cabin and plan on spending a lot of time up there.
Why they chose this property
We've always dreamed of owning a place in the mtns and love the area around Waynesville/Maggie Valley/Lake Januluska so we jumped on this cabin as soon as it was up for sale. We also love Asheville and this cabin is only 4 miles from I-40 for quick access to all Asheville offers.
What makes this property unique
Our cabin is surrounded by woods with lots of wildlife viewing from the deck and a beautiful long-range mountain view. Our nearest neighbors are over 100 yds away. At the gated entrance to our community, you will be greeted by our local ambassador Jack the donkey ... :)
