Very cozy cabin, I live in Wv working in Indiana it was a great escape to surprise my fiance with and get away for the weekend and enjoy rest and relaxation
Our stay here was enjoyable, my spouse and I were able to relax and have fun playing board games. The owner reached out ahead of time to warn us about the driveway with snow and I had not answered my phone but was glad to know that they were trying to resolve it. Thanmfhllg we were able to get
Almost Heaven was the perfect little cabin for a short weekend away for an our anniversary! We loved seeing the deer come into the yard. We had everything we needed for our stay. Location was perfect for going ATV riding on the trails. We will definitely be back!
The property was very nice. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the quiet of the location. We were able to visit Glade Springs resort and Pipestem resort from this location with ease.
The host was very accommodating and communicated everything we needed for our stay.
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend while visting family in town. The property was great, everything was clean organized and cozy. Checkin was simple and easy. We enjoyed watching some of the wildlife from the cabin and soaking in the peace ans quite. Definitely felt like a home away from home
Booked the cabin not knowing a thing about Princeton or the cabin. Was just looking to get away with a friend for a couple day. Really enjoyed the stay nice a quite and clean inside.
Me and my wife had an amazing time at this cabin! It was clean, orderly, and above all, peaceful! We hiked to the train tracks twice during our stay (there's no marked trails that we noticed but was a pleasant trek through the woods regardless). The second hike we ended up sheltering in the tunnel for a few since we got caught in a small snowstorm which was a new experience for my wife. Being from Mercer County myself I prepared for a relaxing stay with not much to do. I was surprised at the increase in things to do since I left. Every time we left the cabin we managed to find something to do, Including the New Years festival on Mercer St. Our Host Dawn also had great communication and was willing to help with any problem that arose during our trip (One was my lack of reading and the other was completely unrelated car trouble). We would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone wanting to take a break and just relax for a few days and we will definitely be back for another stay as soon as possible!
The property is so private and has amazing views of nature all around. Close enough to town to go eat or pick up a few things. Very comfortable, cozy cabin, especially for a couple! We would love to return again soon!
Property was exactly as advertised. Clean, all inclusive, convenient location with easy access, but very secluded. Charming cabin, owners very responsive.
Very cute and cozy cabin. We came for a day of snowboarding at Winterplace. The cabin was perfect for us. The girls loved exploring the property to see the spendors of nature.

The setting was lovely and the cabin in excellent condition. Owners put a lot of effort into making it welcoming. We enjoyed the area and appreciated their suggestions for activities and restaurants.
We enjoyed our stay at Almost Heaven Hideaway. The owner (Dawn) is very attentive and quick to respond to inquiries. The cabin is very cozy, clean, and ready on your arrival. Another plus is the location, you are out of the hustle of the city, but can easily access the highway to anywhere you want to go.
Thank you for opening your cute and rustic cabin to us. It was a great place for ua to stay while we visited our son who is playing baseball at WV Tech.
This is a wonderful cabin, and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. There was ice cold waters in the fridge, snacks on the table, the new toothbrush's in the bathroom was a nice touch. I would recommend this hideaway to everyone considering a trip to West Virginia. It is the perfect location.
This is a great place. When we arrived it was very clean and quiet. Everything we needed was available. It was an easy drive to all the activities we had planned. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
We loved our stay at the cabin. It was very cozy and peaceful. Everything was well communicated and clean. I enjoyed staying there and loved the decor and setting.
About a 20 minute drive and we could ski at Winterplace for the day. We also went to nearby Princeton each night for dinner (about 10-15 min drive). We enjoyed hiking/exploring the property. The cabin itself was clean and well stocked. We would highly recommend staying here! Thank you!
