Sweet Spot Lakehouse - RECENT renovation - this home sure is a Sweet Spot for the discerning traveler. It has it all - awesome waterfront setting with a panoramic lake view, kayaks, canoe, stand-up paddle board, paddle boat, fire pit by the waterfront, and easy access to the water. This home features a screened in dining porch, in addition to an expansive deck overlooking the water. There are also 2 private balconies - one off two of the 2nd floor bedrooms. It is especially convenient to the Dreams park - less than a 10 minute drive and a 15 minute drive to the village of Cooperstown.

The contemporary kitchen is a chef's delight, featuring a 6 burner Thermador stove, 2 sinks and a pantry with a 2nd refrigerator. Ample counter space and well chosen modern appliances are combined to make an ideal food preparation area for the most discerning chef. An outdoor gas grill completes the cooking options.

The spacious living room has vaulted ceilings that showcase vintage hand hewn beams which add intriguing ambiance. The living area easily flows to 2 separate dining areas, all with a relaxing water view. Off the dining areas, there is another spacious room which includes a poker table, a gas fireplace and assorted game tables. This room has custom built in cabinetry including a wet bar.

This home offers a variety of sleeping options with 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, a double bed, and a set of bunks with double on the bottom and twin on top.

NOTE: Rental unit is limited to registered guests only. Any unauthorized guests (guests over 2 years of age must be included in your occupancy) will violate your agreement which could result in a forfeit of deposit and possible immediate termination of your stay. Gatherings are NOT welcome.

Wonderful Getaway spot

It rained our entire trip and was cold and miserable out but the property was comfortable and was such a great location it was a blast. Plus the bonfire and boats were great for enjoying the location

Great for baseball, great for family activities

Great place for baseball families! The fishing poles, paddle boards and small boats were such a treat for our family between games. The house is 15 mins from Dreams Park which is super convenient. The kitchen and grill allowed us to eat at home the whole week and the fishing kept us busy with entertainment.

Amazing property

This house is a one of a kind house right on the lake. Great beach entrance to the lake and lots of lake toys to use. Beautiful deck to relax and hang out on plus a bonus deck that is covered and screened in. Poker table for adults to play cards or hang out. Fantastic house to bring your friends or family to. Also house is 10 minutes from downtown so it’s very centrally located to everything. Highly recommend for anyone to book this house

Family Gathering

We came from three states for a few days together on the shore of a picturesque lake. The house easily accommodated the seven of us for two nights, five for two more, four for two additional days, and was comfortable and homey for the two of us on our last night. The season was wrong to make use of the water craft available, and we gathered around the same table —from several options— for each meal, in part because of the view. It was all very pleasant. And, some family members stayed varying amounts of time because of work and other factors, not because we weren’t all happy to be sharing time together! Thanks!

Tranquil setting, spacious and well appointed home

We had a wonderful time at the Sweet Spot and were very pleased with our rental. Our party was an extended family of 6 people, ranging in age from 8 to 72. The property was exactly as pictured, and the home is so spacious that everyone has room to stretch out. It was very nice to have two primary suites so that my in-laws could have their own private space on the ground floor. Everything was very clean, and the furniture in the two TV rooms is mostly (if not all) brand new. It was wonderful to have a very high capacity washing machine on site. You can't beat the location - Arnold Lake is so beautiful and peaceful. Having access to the kayaks and canoes was an added bonus. Our son played at All Star Village in Oneonta during our stay, and we had no problems with the short 20 minute or so drive to the fields. It was nice to stay in between Oneonta and Cooperstown, which we also visited several times. The owners of the Sweet Spot could not have been more welcoming, and the house manager was available for our questions during our stay. If we were coming back to the area, we would definitely stay at this home again and would recommend it to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sweetspot. A nice lake and a great locale. The house and property provided everything that we needed to have a wonderful experience. Looking forward to a return stay someday.

Amazing and incredible property

We had the BEST time at the sweet spot lake house. The house has a great layout for group trips, multiple and very comfortable sleeping areas, and the lake is perfect. All the water toys are a perfect perk and the kitchen has a great size too. We cannot wait to come back next year

Sweet Spot hits the spot!

Fantastic stay at the house. A much needed vacation for 10 friends who havent seen each other for over a year! Lake is amazingly clear, perfect temp. House is well outfitted with vessels and plenty of room for activities on the side yard as well.
