About this property
Prime Location in Colorado Springs-New Home
Colorado Springs Short Term Rentals permit allows this property to be rented for 30 days or more. If you have other needs, please email me directly or call 612-387-7931 and leave a message. This home is three years old, newly furnished, new beds in every room ,and is super convenient to everywhere in Colorado Springs. The northeast side of town is also closer to Denver and Castle Rock. Powers and I-25 are the main arteries and take you just about everywhere.
It is a block away from a lake with walking path all around it, and access to many hiking trails in the neighborhood. Many preschool children’s toys here. Shopping is very convenient with major stores like Target, Wells Fargo, King Soopers and the Promenade Shoppes just going west on Briargate.
John Venezia Park is just west of King Soopers Grocery, and is a huge park with Tennis Courts, Pickleball Courts, Basketball, Soccer Fields, Walking Trails, a children splash pad area and hug playground. There are active Pickleball games each morning and evening.
If you have interest going to the top of Pikes Peak, I would recommend the Cog Railroad located in Manitou Springs, a charming little hippie/touristy shopping town. Get tickets ahead of time online. If you think you want to drive it, it is steep, one lane and slow, few places to turn around if you get any type of height sickness. It will be cold up there. Morning is the best time to go as afternoons can cloud up and rain in the summer, but usually doesn’t rain long. Plan activities around this possibility.
Definitely go spend an afternoon at the Broadmoor Resort. It is in a class by itself, historic, incredibly well appointed, fabulous artwork all over the hotel including, the Hall of Fame of celebrities. Have lunch there, it is open to the public.
Garden of the Gods, North Cheyenne Canyon, Red Rocks Canyon, Castlewood Canyon, Black Forest Regional Park are good hiking areas close by.
Garden of the Gods has a fabulous interpretive center, and is a nice evening place to be.
TO access neighborhood hiking trails, the closest one that goes around the lake it at the end of the cul de sac. The Arroyo Trail that takes you down to Research Parkway is at the end of the cul de sac by the mailboxes on Twin Falls. There are sidewalks on both sides of all streets in this neighborhood.
If you have a YMCA membership, there is one close by on 4025 Family Place. Lifetime Fitness is also close by, just past Powers.
Your 7,00 feet here, if you feel it in subtle ways it helps to get a can of “Boost” oxygen at Kind Soopers by the Pharmacy. I’ll leave a sample bottle, it feels weightless.
