Cozy A frame home nestled on over two acres of forest property in a quiet neighborhood. Come spend time lounging on the backyard deck in the large privacy fenced yard or enjoying the gorgeous views from one of the two front decks. There is separate fenced dog yard with dog house. We do ask that animals not be left alone on the property. This home has two semi-private bedrooms on upper level, each with a queen sized memory foam bed. There is one bathroom with a luxurious shower- no bathtub. There is a full kitchen with a full sized stove/oven and microwave. There is a Keurig coffee pot that does pods and ground coffee with a fully stocked assortment of coffee and tea. There is a small dorm sized refrigerator and freezer. There is a full deep clean performed on the entire house after every visitor. This property is located close to many outdoor activities, hiking, fishing, historic attractions, atv trails, and plenty of national forest to explore. From the house the Florissant fossil beds are 7 minutes, Eleven mile canyon is 11 min, Eleven mile reservoir is 37 min, Tarryall reservoir is 43 min, Antero reservoir is 53 min, and many other nearby recreational areas.
Note- -There is cell phone service at the house for most carriers. -Driveway is at an incline, steep and can be difficult for low profile vehicles. Will need AWD or 4WD during the winter months (Oct-March). The driveway is repaired once a year for erosion so there are times where there are parts of the driveway that have eroded. There are also all dirt roads in this neighborhood, about a mile in and a mile out in either direction. -There are steep stairs both inside and outside, not recommended if any mobility concerns. Care must be taken while using stairs. -Home is on well water and septic. Water conservation is encouraged. The well is slow producing and water tanks are smaller due to the size of the house. - This home is in a highly wooded neighborhood with other private property owners. We cannot control what they do on their property, ie fire mitigation tasks that may include the use of chain saws and other equipment that may be heard from this property.

The place was extremely cute and fun. The fenced in backyard was wonderful for a private evening playing card games and corn hole. They have a wonderful fire pit that's made a relaxing evening. I will definitely stay here again.
Perfect little place for a quick getaway, has everything you need and even some games. Great location to fun outdoor activities and small mountain towns. Highly recommend!!

We loved this place! It was easy to find, clean and cozy. We felt secure, right at home and can't wait to go back. I only wish that there had been a freezer, but otherwise, it was perfect! The beds were very comfortable. The fenced in yard was great for our little fur babies. Thank you, Jenn!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute and cozy cabin. In addition to the beautiful view from the balconies, the peace and quiet of this property was just what we needed. It was very clean and had everything we needed to feel comfortably at home. We especially enjoyed the private fenced yard with all the aspen trees. Our 2 dogs also enjoyed having their own fenced in area with a nice dog house, as well.

About the host

My wife and I both grew up in this area and decided to move back in 2018. We remodeled this home from the floor boards and lived in it with our daughter for two years prior to purchasing an additional home in Florissant. We are current residents of the Florissant community and love living here!
Why they chose this property
This property is quiet, nestled in the trees, and has amazing views. We love this home due to the cozy feeling you have in a smaller home.
