Great location!

Loved the open floor plan. Lots of space for two people. The location is great, close to a number of restaurants and it’s great having a Hy-Vee down the block. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place that was exactly what and where we needed. The home owners kept in contact with throughout the whole time and answered questions we had. Would definitely use again

Downtown event

The property was very nice and comfortable. A great location for downtown Des Moines events right on the skywalk system. Also a great location for lots of restaurants and drinking establishments. On site parking is a very big plus too. We will definitely stay here again

Sweet little place right in the heart of it!

Great place, right in the heart of Des Moines. Easy walking to everywhere including the Botanical gardens. Very prompt response from owner/manager. Highly recommend

The building had a great old charm to it. The location is amazing and centered close to bars and restaurants. The place was clean and charming. The property manager was great, walked us through finding the keys and parking which was very helpful. He also always answered the phone, was attentive and even offered some restaurant choices

Perfect spot

Wife and I was visiting from IL to attend the state fair. This place was perfect for us. It is located in walking distance from so many night life activities and food options. The room is very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. The private off street parking garage was a plus. I highly recommend booking this location and we will definitely be staying again when we return.

Great and convenient place

I stayed here with my daughter for a swim meet. It was great to have a close place to everything we needed. It was a quick and easy skywalk or outside walk to the pool, coffee, and grocery store. Nice to also have a kitchen and washing machine and a very clean, bright place. Will consider staying again for future visits.

We loved the apartment, very cozy, amazing location! The apartment was spacious and comfy, we loved watching movies on the couch with the projector! The farmers market was about 50 feet from the door which was super convenient! Overall our experience was awesome!

Wonderful apartment in Downtown Des Moines

This is a spacious and roomy apartment...bright with plenty of windows. The full kitchen + washer and dryer were a big plus for our five night stay. The bed is comfortable and the apartment is fully stocked with everything you might need. It is only one block to a full-service grocery/drug market. There are dozens of great restaurants within a few blocks. The off-street parking is secure. We were completely impressed.

Right in the middle of downtown Des Moines. Walking distance to Wells Fargo arena. Botanical garden nearby. Instructions to enter were clear, and once inside, everything was perfect. The bed is amazing. I love a firm bed. No wiggle transfer when you change positions. The floor is a bit cold, so bring slippers! The street is a bit loud. Perfect view of the sunrise!!

Daughter's wedding weekend

The property location was great. Close to restaurants, bars and HyVee. Very walkable. It had everything we needed in a compact space. Very clean and modern. We had a little trouble getting into the property but Kyle was available to help us out. The only negative was the spiral stairs in the parking garage. It was narrow and dirty so we started using the car ramp instead of stairs. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Kyle.

Nice place

Clean, cute, just like the photos. A bit complicated with parking garage and key fob and codes, etc. The apartment is a good mile from “East Village” though so there was lots of walking involved to the other side of the river…. I would suggest more amenities to offer. There were 4 kurig cups of coffee for the two of us for a 2 night stay, had to run to Hyvee and buy more! Added touches go a long way with VRBO stays, this was more bare bones. But I’d still recommend it to others as long as you know it’s a 9th floor studio in the heart of downtown!

Incredibly confusing entry, don’t book with young children

The space was beautiful, and Kyle did an awesome job getting it set up for me and my toddler, who needed a pack-n-play. However, there were an insane amount of instructions and I was given wrong codes on how to even get in the building. When I tried to call(several times), the phone went straight to voicemail. The only reason I was able to get in was because a very kind security guard let me in and helped me on the scavenger hunt to figuring it out. The directions could have been much simpler. If you have young children I do not recommend booking this place.

Beautiful condo, great location

I was in Des Moines with my two young daughters to go see a show at the Civic Center. This condo was the perfect location for us. Although the condo has a free parking space, I did not use it based on the description that it would be a tight squeeze for vans. I instead parked in the public parking garage at 3rd & Court (for only $5 overnight), which is connected to the skywalk that goes to the condo building. We weren't sure how to get from the skywalk to the main entrance of the building, but we eventually found the right path and stairway down. Then we followed the steps that the host provided to get into the condo. My daughters thought the check-in process was like a fun scavenger hunt, following the clues and pictures and using the numeric codes. We were thrilled to walk in and see the beautiful space and fun city view. We got take-out food that night from Court Ave Brewing Company, just a couple blocks away. And we again used the skywalk to go to the Civic Center. The 3 of us slept comfortably. It was the weekend and there was a lot of street noise, but I left the bathroom vent on for white noise and we weren't bothered. We enjoyed our stay very much. The host was great too, with quick replies when I contacted him.

The apartment is very clean and cute. Loved the shower and the decor. Getting the key fob was a chore. I am barely over five foot tall and couldn't reach the lockbox. Also, I wouldn't suggest using the parking space unless you are young and small. The spiral staircase is tiny. Tall people or people with bad knees or whatever would find it very difficult to use. The space is charming, but the bed was very squeaky. The cute fireplace did not work. The location is ideal for downtown evevts and using skywalk. The price was right.

Great place and great location!

I don’t have a negative thing to say about this property. It was a great place and a great location. As others mention, the check in process involves a few steps, but the host does a great job of detailing exactly what you need to do. We didn’t have any issues getting keys or parking. Bed was extremely comfortable and the projector/tv was a bonus. Tons of bars and restaurants in walking distance and host was extremely responsive and flexible. We will definitely stay here again!
