Relax and take in the views of Shasta Lake with the family or friendcation at this peaceful house nestled in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. The house is 3,000 sq. and has 3 levels with 2 bedrooms and 3.5 bath sleeps up to 13 people. It sits at the end of a quiet gated road. Enjoy the wilderness from our hiking trail or play a game of air hockey, foosball or double shot. Of course you could spend your entire trip right here but within a short distance you could explore so much more the area has to offer like, Shasta Caverns, boating, hiking trails, waterfalls and other lakes. Take a quick trip North to Mount Shasta Ski Park or head South to Redding for Turtle Bay Exploration Park and Sundial Bridge.

The Most AMAZING HOME!

This home is simply breathtaking. The view, the stunning views from the windows, the layout, all of it. We enjoyed our stay here very much. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat, this is the place. The games in the basement room kept the kids occupied as well as was fun for the adults. The hot tub was an added plus. We will definitely be coming back here!

Beautiful relaxing getaway

Had the most wonderful vacation at the Sunrise Retreat. We slipped straight into relaxation as soon as we got there after a long wet drive. The property was lovely and warm when we arrived. The house is perfect for adults and children with lots of space and time to relax whilst enjoying the family. The lounge has a stunning view and the bedrooms are cozy. Kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you would need. Lovely attention to detail all round. Regina was the perfect host. Would visit again for sure.

The Anniversary Getaway

I decided to spend my one year anniversary at the ShastaSunriseRetreat cabin. I brought my wife, and our kids (15,7, and twin 3 yr olds). The cabin was amazing. So comfortable and clean. The view was breathtaking. The kids loved the game room area and being able to see lizards, and rabbits. They enjoyed every min. My 7 yr old didn’t want to leave 😄 It’s not hard to find, although the windy road could take a toll on younger kids and it is 30min from civilization. As long as you come prepared with food for your stay there isn’t much of a down side at all. It is a place where there is no service so come with the intent to be in and enjoy the moment. Enjoy who and what is around you. It was a great time and that goes back to the comfort of the place. Getaway was a success. I’m pretty sure my wife won’t mind spending a few more years with me 😉

The Views!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The views cannot be beat. It has a great layout and a ton of space for your family and children to spread out and enjoy themselves. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed including a few extra items we weren't expecting but happy they had. The views take the cake in this property and make you truly feel like you're away from it all. The two bedrooms make it perfect for two families to share except the other room would benefit from a larger and more comfortable bed. The bunks are awesome for kids and they loved all the games downstairs. We couldn't get the surround speakers to work downstairs but the TV was large. It would have been nice to have a TV in the large gathering room upstairs as well. The hot tub was great aside from a little initial cleaning on our part, and was a nice way to end the day. We all had a wonderful weekend in a space that was clean and comfortable and allowed us all to be together. The one item that completely missed the mark, however, was the lack of comfortable seating on the deck. With a view like that and wonderful weather which Shasta experiences regularly, we were fully expecting to almost live outside on that deck and soak up every beautiful, serene moment. The chairs that were provided were extremely uncomfortable for any period of time and the bar and stools were wobbly, sagging, and had no back support to sit for any length of time. It was a constant mention of disappointment.

Amazing view, great host.

We had a great time at Shasta Sunrise. The view was unbelievable and we had all the amenities we could ask for. Host directions were very clear and helpful. Never even needed to contact them except to thank them for the great time. We hope to come back in the future.

Great stay in a well-equipped house, in a super peaceful location...amazing sky and lake views - no walking access to the shoreline but the boat ramp is only 13 min drive! Pack in Pack out!!

Secluded Gem with Beautiful Views of Lake Shasta

If you are seeking a secluded place to spend time with your family in the Lake Shasta area, then look no further! Shasta Sunrise Retreat is a modern lake house that is super secluded, overlooking a beautiful forest and Lake Shasta. The house has plenty of room for you and your family to spread out and relax and be disconnected. There are plenty of beds to sleep in and more than enough bathrooms for your family. The kitchen and home are well stocked with all of the essentials. The game room downstairs is the best and will keep your family entertained for a long time. My favorite was the double shot basketball and although I didn’t beat the all-time high of 152, I am still proud of my 84. The hot tub was also a hit and at the perfect temperature of 104F. We have already many friends inquiring about this place after looking at the pictures we posted! Definitely would stay here again next time!

Beautiful View

We loved staying at the Shasta Sunrise Retreat! The views were amazing. And so peaceful enjoying out coffee out on the deck in the morning. Kids loved all the games in the basement and the dressup clothes up in the loft were a hit.

Breathtaking

My family and I visited Shasta Lake/Lakehead area for our small family gathering. When I walked in the door I was amazed by the beautiful views. This home is very comfortable, clean and special. They had lots of games and toys for kids, game room and a large patio area which was great for watching wild life, sharing wine and taking in the beauty. We saw deer every day. I loved the privacy of this home, we didn’t see a single person the entire time we were there. I noticed the camera at the front door but it didn’t bother me at all and I understand why she needs to have it there. We enjoyed visiting Shasta Caverns, some waterfalls and creeks. We will definitely be back. My kids didn’t want to leave. Regina was a sweet host, responded quickly and provided everything we needed. Hope to visit again next summer.

Very nice, little privacy

Property is exquisite. Breathtaking views, dense forest and crisp fresh air. The amenities were on point and the check in was hassle free. Only drawback was the multiple cameras on the front and back porch. I get they need to protect their interest, but it was creepy knowing someone could be watching you at all times, particularly when using or coming out of the jacuzzi

Our profile picture is just one of the beautiful lakes the area has to offer and at the time it was frozen, a 40 drive from our house to the town of Mount Shasta. Why they chose this property

Living in Northern California our entire lives, we are use to the nature and surrounding mountains and everything this area has to offer. We absolutely love the beautiful drive and the remoteness of this home. It is the coolest thing to see a mama bear and her cubs crossing the road. Listening to the owl in the tree late at night... You don't get those experiences in the city.

What makes this property unique

Our house is very unique, cozy, and FUN. The kids love it here with the hiking trails and the game room. Even the adults like to shoot some hoops in the game room!! We bought this home because we fell in love with the view and there is so much outdoor activities to do all within a short distance. Then boating on the lake is our favorite place to be in the summer. It is only 3 miles to the nearest boat launch from the house.
