Location is a little dated and it was rough with laundry room being in a bedroom. There were people partying next door, late at night with loud music and cursing, which we disliked with young kids. The milk shelf in the fridge door was broke, all kinds of cigarette butts and trash in back yard, the door handle in bathroom with queen bed room was sticking and didn't want to unlock, several banisters were loose on the top deck in front of house and back of house, including the balcony. The downstairs bedrooms were smaller than we realized. House gets hotter upstairs but downstairs temperature was good. You could literally feel the house rock often, this happened each day we were there. Being on the ocean was great, but you could only see the water and not the beach from the house where the sand dunes were so tall, which made my older mother sad because she couldn't watch us enjoying the beach. The house came with lots of extras to enjoy on the beach and everyone enjoyed the hammock

Overall lovely setting, beautiful views, plenty of room for 5 guests. The only issue was the lack of air conditioning on some of the hottest days of the summer. It would not go below 75 degrees, and after a certain amount of time, it turned itself off altogether. We would come back into the house after a few hours away and the thermometer read anywhere from 80-85. We called the office and they sent a tech out to check the system. He said the system was working fine, but it was controlled remotely by the owners. He said he would put in a ticket for the agency to contact the owners to lower the A/C minimum temp allowed. I don't know if the call was ever made but the temperature settings never changed. By that time, we were only 2 days from checkout. One guest left a day early because it was just a little too uncomfortable for her. The A/C downstairs worked fine so we set up fans to help blow some of the cool air from downstairs to upstairs which helped a little. We just tried to spend as much time out of the house as possible during the day due to the heat. Luckily, there was enough to keep us busy in the area. It is a lovely house, though. We would have liked to have spent more time in it. Maybe a visit later in the fall or in the spring would have been the perfect time, before it gets too hot.
