Family vacation

The property was just as listed and the owners were amazing to work with!! The location was exceptional we had a golf cart but you could have walked to most things from the house. We stayed for 2 weeks and would definitely stay again. Great vacation!!

Perfect July 4th

This is our 20+ year at OIB during July 4th week. We have stayed in various locations, but this year, this house was perfect on so many levels. Location is amazing. You can literally see the fireworks from the front porch, the decor of the house is such a vibe and the pool and tiki bar is where we spent most of our time. I can’t say enough great things about it. Dena, the owner is so great to work with and a jewel! We will be back.

Great property, great location! First off, Dena is the best homeowner I have ever dealt with, hands down! Super responsive and polite! We stayed here with a family of 6, was a little tight at times but we made it work. House was super clean. Check-in process could not have gone any better. Beach access was almost right across the street, 30 second walk! Pool was perfect and clean. Definitely would recommend this property and would no doubt stay here again.

Our family is located in Raleigh, NC, but we are natives of Johnstown, PA! We have 3 grown children, but have been coming to OIB since they were babies! We chose our home because of the Prime Location! Beach access directly across street & walking distance to church, food, dining, pier, park, mini golf, etc! We LOVE how family oriented OIB has always felt & love how much pride the whole town feels about the island & how welcome they always make guests feel!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this precious home when our children were much smaller because of the perfect location & charm! We were honored to have one of the original homes built on the island hence is why we wanted to keep much of the original character of the home!
Location is always considered by many as the "prime" location on the island because it is located only 100 feet from the beach access (directly across the street), walking distance to dining, mini golf, ice cream, pier, & church service on the beach!
We hope that your family makes wonderful memories here & loves our home as much as we have over the years!
