This is a beautiful property with all the amenities. The location is excellent and even the view of a barn and horses across the street is just perfect. I looked forward to this weekend for months and the home was the perfect location for memories with friends. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Overall the stay was great! Perfect beachy vibes inside with lots of space. The host was fast with responding to questions or needs. Easy downtown access via Uber. Extremely pleased with our stay!

The whole house was clean and comfortable and the owner was so easy to talk to and very accommodating! It was the perfect bachelorette weekend getaway and I would definitely plan future trips to come back to this home! Just note the pool isn’t open until Memorial Day weekend.

This is an exceptional property in a premier location. Check-in was easy. Communication with the owner (Mary) was seamless, timely and enjoyable. And the house and grounds were clean and enjoyable. We had a terrific time and would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the island.

AMAZING house & stay!

Truly the best experience i’ve had staying at a rental house. The listing was perfectly accurate, the house was very very clean. The location is great. We had the best time and I can’t recommend this property/host enough!

The house was beautiful and definitely worked well for what we needed for a weekend away. The host was also very responsive whenever we reached out, which we appreciated.That said, there were a handful of things that made the stay a little more frustrating than expected. We had quite a few ants in the kitchen cabinets, counters and around the sinks. We understand that it’s an older farmhouse, but the amount of ants we were seeing was more than we expected. One of the bathrooms also wasn’t working during our stay. One of the fire alarms started beeping and it’s not the guests responsibility to get on a ladder and change the fire alarm battery.The back door lock was broken which prompted us to call the owner. The owner did offer to have someone next door come by to take a look, which we appreciated thought but also uncomfortable knowing a neighbor to come to the house on all girls weekend. we were getting ready to leave for plans and didn’t want to spend part of our weekend waiting for someone to come into the house. While that was a nice offer, it just wasn’t practical for us at the time. This should have been addressed prior. The TVs were probably the biggest amenity frustration. 3 tvs and none of them were usable because the cable was showing static, and the tvs wete older smart tvs couldn’t get the internet to connect to Chromecast.Overall, it’s a really nice house & the owner was responsive but there were little maintenance issues that added up to be annoying.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the house and that it worked well for your weekend getaway. I also appreciate you acknowledging my responsiveness throughout your stay. I would like to clarify a few things regarding the concerns mentioned. The back door lock does work; there was some difficulty understanding how to operate it, and I tried to explain the process over FaceTime. I completely understand that you were in a hurry to leave for your plans, and I offered to have someone assist, but I understand that the timing wasn’t convenient. Regarding the TVs, they are all functional, and I believe the issue may have been with locating the correct remote controls for each room. As for the smoke alarm, when we spoke over FaceTime on the day of your arrival, there was no beeping at that time. Smoke alarm batteries do occasionally need replacing, and I agree that this is something that should be addressed by the host. As for the ants -there were a few tiny ones near the kitchen window. unfortunately, ants can be an issue in homes during certain times of the year. That said, I understand your concerns and appreciate you bringing them to my attention. I always strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for my guests, and I take feedback seriously. I’m sorry that these issues affected your overall experience, and I appreciate you recognizing the beauty of the home and my efforts to be available and responsive during your stay.

Bachelorette weekend bliss

Amazing atmosphere beautiful space all the amenities you need tentative host with great communication great location for access to Newport nightlife but so much yard room. You can make an entire event in the backyard yourself. Perfect girls weekend spot!

Beautiful, comfortable home. Plenty of room to hang out inside when it was raining. Awesome, heated pool with spacious pool deck for lounging. Quiet, beautiful street. Would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Middletown home. The backyard is a dream — the pool is spotless and perfect for relaxing after the beach, and the outdoor space is private and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is another highlight: modern, spacious, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for family meals or entertaining.What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the owner. They are incredibly organized, responsive, and communicative, which made the whole process smooth from booking through check-out. Every detail was thought of, and it was clear how much care they put into making guests feel welcome.We can’t recommend this home highly enough and look forward to staying again on our next trip to Rhode Island!

Lovely inside and out!

This is a big, great looking home with a stellar outdoor living space as well. There was plenty of space for our group of 7 to sit, cook, eat, sun, swim & play games. We were on a girls weekend and so happy to find a property with six beds! The primary bed and bath were especially nice, but every room was comfortable. The kitchen has been nicely updated and has plenty of room to hang out and eat, with a pretty, long island and a generous round table. The host was very receptive when we had questions, he got right back to us and the process was quite smooth. The outdoor pool and backyard were really nice, big and attractive. We actually canceled a dinner reservation one night because we were so enjoying the yard and pool.

A complete disappointed

The owner told us that the house was not left in a clean condition. That is not true. We responded to the statement and sent time-stamped pictures refuting his statement and requested that he send pictures to support his claim. He did not do so. Unfortunately, we had a number of issues with the property. We pointed out the following to him: . Upon arrival, the house was not prepared for occupancy. There were dirty dishes in the sink. There were also wet clothes left in the laundry room. . The guest shower and sink did not work. We spent three (3) hours attempting to have running water. We were never able to have hot water. . The fire alarm sounded three (3) times. We had to spend another hour addressing this issue. . The dishwasher did not work. We washed his dishes which were left in the sink and our dishes throughout the weekend. . The property was not as advertised as it was a bed short of the listing description. . One of the beds was defective and broke. We promptly alerted him of this. Also, it was quite disturbing to discover a video camera on the property. VRBO policy requires that any video camera be disclosed. He failed to do so.

Beautiful property with easy access to town and beaches. A few notes I would have liked to have known in advance: The kitchen is not particularly well stocked if you plan to cook regularly or for a group. It would have been helpful to have basic soap and laundry detergent available (there was dish soap and some shampoo/conditioner that others had left). The towels and bed linens were on the sparse side. The TV in the common room relied on screen mirroring, which would have been fine except that the Wi-Fi was not sufficiently strong, which made it difficult to watch World Cup games. Additionally, the directions were to set the alarm at night, but two sensors would not connect.With that said, the property was clean, in a great location, and the pool made for a easy way to hang out without going anywhere!
