About this property
NEW! Luxury! 2 Outdoor Courtyards! Walk to the Plaza, Railyard, & Canyon Road!
Casa del Arbol (affectionately named the tree house after the 100 yr old apricot tree on the patio) is located in the Guadalupe Historic District. This casita is typical Santa Fe charm meets industrial contemporary and is bright, quiet, comfortable, & boasts many upscale amenities. This casita has been newly renovated from top to bottom, including new furniture throughout & two outdoor living areas. Only steps away from the Railyard, Santa Fe Plaza & Canyon Rd.
Casa del Arbol is a beautiful 800 square foot plus additional space in the loft, one bedroom and one bath condo that is tucked away in a compound on a quiet dead end street. This charming condo is situated behind private adobe walls and coyote fencing. It is within walking distance to many favorite local attractions. You are a 10 minute walk away from the Railyard which has a wonderful farmers market every Saturday, the Railrunner train station and the Violet Crown Cinema, amazing restaurants with craft beers and cocktails. You are a 15 minute walk to the Santa Fe Plaza with many incredible restaurants. You are also 1 mile away from exploring the beautiful galleries on Canyon Road in addition to visiting various churches and museums in the area. If you like to snow ski or snowboard it is only a 30 minute drive to the Santa Fe Ski basin. Don't forget to stop by the Spa at Ten Thousand Waves to have a massage if you spend a day on the slopes or an amazing meal at Izanami (reservations are recommended ).
Guadalupe Historic District is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Santa Fe. The neighborhood is a quintessential place to walk with a local park and or the historical Guadalupe church (you will love hearing the church bells ring daily) just two blocks away in either direction. This casita is ready for you to come and stay awhile. In fact, all reservations are for a 30 day minimum. Casa del Arbol has all the necessary amenities and then some to feel like you are at home during your stay!
The front and back patio welcomes you in to your own private outdoor space to enjoy the warm sun while having homemade meals/takeout or perhaps it is just a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
The front entrance welcomes you right into an open space living plan with high ceilings and lots of windows to fill the room with natural light. A fully equipped galley kitchen with quality grade appliances and all the dinnerware/cookware you need to make a gourmet meal. Including basic staples and spices. The living area has a 55" Samsung Frame TV to watch your favorite episodes/movies and a Marshall bluetooth speaker to enjoy your favorite tunes.
To the left of the front door you will find a highly functional bathroom with a walk in shower, new quartzite countertop, glass vessel and sliding barn door for privacy. There is also a full sized washer and dryer for use anytime you like.
Just past the bathroom is a private bedroom with a sliding barn door. The bedroom features a new king-size memory-foam mattress, two closets with built in drawers-shelves-shoe boxes , etc. for ample storage, 37" Samsung Frame TV, and a mini split air conditioner to keep you cool at night during the warm summer days. There is another mini split in the living area and when the weather is cold you will enjoy radiant heating throughout the casita as well.
As you walk back through the living area you will find a metal staircase that leads you up to the loft. This is a wonderful place to hang out and read a book, work or take a nap as the clouds roll overhead. The daybed features a new 14" memory foam mattress. There is a designated work space as well.
There is a small/free private parking space outside the front courtyard and additional parking on the street.
There is a Ring Video Doorbell at the front door that captures the front door, front gate and path between front gate to front door.
Note that pets are not permitted in Casa del Arbol.
We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

About the host
Hosted by Tisha Wallace

My husband Luke and I enjoy traveling and we really appreciate good hospitality from the inside out. It truly is the little things that make one feel at home and treasure great memories made while vacationing. We live between Tulsa and Santa Fe, depending on where my husbands law practice takes him. We would love to welcome you to our little slice of heaven here in Santa Fe!
Why they chose this property
We have been visiting Santa Fe for over 15 years and love the city different. We thoroughly enjoy the food, art, culture and of course the natural beauty. We looked for the perfect Santa Fe casita for years until this gem came along. This is our home away from home. We love it and hope you will too.
What makes this property unique
This condo is part of a compound in the Guadalupe Historic District and is steps away from the Railyard District and the Plaza. The condo is on a quiet dead end street and is perfectly located within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, farmers market, galleries, museums and historical churches.
Getting around Santa Fe is easy and downtown is no exception. The surrounding historic districts are compact and most conveniently traveled on foot. However, there is a free shuttle service (Santa Fe Pick-up) and uber/lyft services as well.
