My family is fortunate that we have gone on a number of vacations together for Thanksgiving - Hawaii, Puerto Rico, St Thomas, St Marten to name a few - and we think this is probably the best property we have ever stayed in.
The beach access is unbelievably convenient. I was worried that, because it’s a kitesurfing destination, that the shore would be too rocky or the surf too rough for young ones (kids here were aged 4, 7, 9, 13 and 15). I was also concerned there may be tons of bros kite surfing in front of the property - neither was an issue AT ALL. It feels like you have all of long bay to yourself Bc you rarely saw people.
Terri, the property manager, was very responsive and easy to communicate with including some of my large families more obscure questions.
Edrice, who maintains the property, is exceedingly helpful - need help getting out paddle boards or kayaking? Want to set up an oar board on the paddle boards? Need to set up jet skis? Want someone to vacuum the sand out of your rental? This guy helped with all of it. He was great.
This is the first property I’d say we would consider doing a return trip too. We explored the island every day, but I could have just sat there paddleboarding and swimming with the kids all day and been happy.
If I had one suggestion for future guests: bring water shoes. The beautiful soft sand does have some crushed conch shells on them so my kids were happier with them. This is very minor though.
If you’re going to Turks, and you can afford a beach front villa - STAY HERE.
