At the end of it's own private white driveway, landscaped gardens provide seclusion and peace to relax at this newer Nantucket home. The acre lot accommodates spacious outdoor living and lawns for children to play safely. The brick patio is perfect for dining and barbecuing, it is accessed from french doors off the living room.
The comfortable interior spaces are open plan with a contemporary feel. The hardwood floors throughout the home compliment the clean design. The living room is for relaxing and entertainment. The new kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, granite counters and an island for casual dining. This flows to the dining room which seats 8 at a square table that promotes conversation.
There is also a half bathroom on this floor and a good size closet.
Upstairs are the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. This includes a master suite where you can watch the sunset over the moors and ocean from the upper deck of your Nantucket vacation rental. Further bedrooms include a queen bedroom and a wonderful children's bedroom, which sleeps 4 people, where everybody wants the top bunk!
On the third floor, accessed by a solid teak stair (which was built by a ship builder) is the 15ft by 25 ft loft. This can be used as a TV room, sitting room or bedroom as it has two full size futon sofa beds. The house also has an outdoors shower, which is great when you return from the beach. There are beach chairs, an umbrella, various coolers, boogie boards and beach toys provided. We have made every effort to equip the home so you will have a comfortable and enjoyable time on your vacation in Nantucket.

Our group of 6 had a wonderful stay! It was my husband and I, our two teenage sons, and my parents who are in their early 80's. The house had plenty of space for all of us, and a great outdoor area for morning coffee and evening cocktails. It was very clean upon arrival, kitchen was well stocked, and had all we needed for our days at the beach.

Beautiful home worked perfectly for two families

Joyce and Patrick were wonderful to work with and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay great. The house and property are beautiful and well maintained. We had plenty of room to sit and enjoy the outdoor bbq while the kids played cornhole. The bonus loft gave the teens a great place to hangout. Perfect location, great vacation!

Great Tom Nevers home

Great, very well equipped home a short bike ride to Tom Nevers beach. House has everything you’ll need and the owners are very quick to reply to any request or concern. Home is Beautifully decorated and kitchen was a delight to use. Highly recommend an easy 15-20 min bike ride to sconset and do the beach walk towards the lighthouse.

Peaceful 2 weeks!

We really enjoyed staying in this property - the kitchen had every possible thing you might look for. The property was clean and nicely decorated. We used the outdoor grill and yard a lot. Easy bike to Sconset and the beach. The only thing I would change if I could would be to make the Jack and Jill bathroom a hall bath. Having an adult on one side and teen girls on the other was slightly awkward and required careful notification!

Great week away

We had a great week away at Joyce and Patrick’s house. We were 4 adults and 2 teens. The house had plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals at home. We used the outdoor grille one night. Location was perfect for exploring Nantucket but was also away from the busy town area. We made use of the beach chairs, towels, cooler and boogie boards. We also enjoyed the board games on a rainy day at home. Highly recommend!

Great Location

I simply wanted to shared that Joyce was exceptional to work with. This is a wonderful property, in a quiet setting, and we were very, very happy here. One of the best kept secrets on the island!!

Great home

Clean, bright, comfortable home with well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of room to gather. Beautiful views from the master bedroom. Very convenient with bed linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, cooler and many other items all included and in good condition. We really enjoyed our stay. The owners are very nice and we hope to come again.

Great, quiet location and good sized-house.

Great, quiet location and good sized-house with 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor- 1 bedroom/TV room up a ladder, and a basement bedroom perfect for the nanny. Master bedroom had great high ceilings, natural light, and a good sized bathroom.

Perfect for family stay in ACK

Great stay in Tom Nevers

We had a lovely stay and Patrick and Joyce’s. The house was as described — well-stocked and comfortable. Patrick also went above and beyond in helping us navigate our arrival, as we were up against Hurricane Henri — he offered us the choice of arriving early and also came to pick us up from the ferry and take us to our rental car. Patrick and Joyce were staying above the garage further down the driveway, but we still felt we had privacy and they’d be available in case we needed them. Thanks for a great stay!

Tom Nevers Stay

Wonderful stay! Patrick and Joyce were wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The house and yard are perfect and even better than the pictures. Location is great, quiet and private and just a short bike to the ocean which we enjoyed every morning. We hope to return!

A Home With Everything You Need!

Our family had a great week at this home, it truly had everything we needed! We spent so much time at the beach and really only needed to bring our bathing suits as the house had EVERYTHING else. It is in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle of town, but minutes away to anything you need. The waves at Tom Nevers beach were a little big for our kids but we enjoyed venturing out to many of the other beaches with calmer waves to explore. The Sconset Market was close for grabbing snacks and of course ice cream! We’d definitely stay here again!

It was perfect for our family. We had individual spaces to relax and a large dining table at dinner time. Kitchen was well equipped, we had many great bbq’s on awesome grill. Three generations and it worked for everyone!

"A little bit of Heaven"

My wife and I and 2 other couples had a fantastic vacation at this lovely house on Nantucket. The house itself was just as it had been advertised; bright, airy, well-stocked, very clean, tastefully decorated and very well maintained; in short the perfect place to unwind, relax and yet close to all the amenities and sights so abundant on the island. We mostly ate in during our stay as we are keen chefs, and cooked some great meals on the in-house oven and hob, and outdoors on the great BBQ. The weather was a little mixed during our stay, but we had some great fun nights in, helped by the plentiful board games and crossword puzzles thoughtfully provided by our hosts Patrick and Joyce. We also took some early-morning walks through the quiet surrounding lanes and on the lovely beach which is no more than a 20 minute stroll from house. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to this little gem for future vacations.

Amazing House, Amazing Homeowners!

Where to begin! The house was simply beautiful and very well taken care of. It was very obvious that Joyce and Patrick spend a lot of time on ensuring the property is in the best condition. The house was recently renovated, which was nice. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, it made the trip so much easier. There was also a nice yard and patio for us ot all sit outside on a nice, cool Nantucket evening. Joyce was beyond amazing. She was simply so sweet and responsive to every single question we had. By far the best homeowners and best house I have ever stayed at in my years renting on Nantucket. I look forward to coming again if we have a similar sized party!

Perfect Rental!

We could not have asked for a better week on Nantucket! We had perfect weather and the perfect house. This rental had everything we could think of. We cooked and baked often and every kitchen item we needed was right at hand. Also, anything we could have needed to hit the beach was available to us. It was super clean and well maintained.

Beautiful and comfortable home

We could not have been more pleased with our rental. The home is light and airy - a lovely beach house. Waking up in the master bedroom to a view of the sea through the French door was a wonderful way to start each day. The other bedrooms are also pleasant and comfortable. The kitchen is the best equipped rental I've ever seen - we used several different appliances including the Cuisinart food processor and the panini maker. In fact, all the appliances in the house are top notch - many of them new. Finally, the outdoor space is private and very inviting. Two different decks and a wooden dining set with a very large umbrella gave our party of 6 adults many options for reading, eating and relaxing. I hope to rent this home again next year - highly recommended!

Peaceful, well appointed, and totally comfortable

The planning stage went very smoothly, the operational instructions/ information provided at the house was adequate and helpful and the actual stay could not have been better. We all had our own space and the common areas were great too. The kitchen had every appliance and piece of cookware we needed and we did use the kitchen quite a bit. The outdoor space was comfortable, well groomed and inviting. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor shower too. Remnants of Hurricane Arthur came through during our stay and the only issues were a ripped umbrella and some leakage around the air conditioner units which was minimal given the wind and rain. We would definitely stay again if we had a similar sized party.

Our Lovely Summer Vacation!

This was an ideal family vacation rental! We have two small children and found the home to more than exceed our expectations. The large and private yard was exactly what we were looking for as the kids had plenty of room to run around and play. The house is laid out well and has a lovely summery feel to it. The owners leave nothing to chance, even leaving beautiful potpourri in all of the bathrooms! The kitchen is so well stocked, we hope to rent it out for a larger gathering at Thanksgiving! We love bike riding to Tom Nevers Field for some fun baseball games and we take the kids for a short bike ride to Sconset as well!

Beautiful home in quiet area of Island

The home is decorated to a high standard, is very well maintained and in a part of the island that's well away from the busy Summer traffic. We went there for our family vacation and had a great time. The house has plenty bikes which we used to travel all around this island. There were lots of places to hang out in the big house with an outside BBQ area that we used frequently. The grounds were kept well and it's obvious that the owner spends a lot of time getting the gardens in great shape. Dealing with the owner was easy and all of our questions were answered quickly. She told us of the inside restaurants that we booked up in advance. Overall, we have a great vacation and will be returning next year.
