Beautiful view!

This condo is in the perfect spot for easy beach access and close proximity to the pool. It’s a bit dated but with those views, chipping paint & what not can be easily overlooked! There are plenty of restaurants and a Publix close by as well. Great vacation, overall!

This condo and beach was the best we have stayed at as a family. It was clean, right on the water, wonderful view and lots of space. We have 0 complaints. It was a quiet place but close to all the eateries. The beach wasn't crowded and the sand was beautiful.

A minute to the beach!

Beautiful space and was well stocked with all we needed for the stay. We cooked most meals there. (No spices though, that would be a nice touch) Nice TV’s in each room with internet access to watch movies in the evening. The ocean and pool were so close. It wasn’t a problem to go back and forth throughout the day. The sunrise was beautiful from the beach. Nice white sand. Not over crowded. Close to stores and food establishments. Bocce ball game on site that we enjoyed. Tennis courts too, but you do need to bring your own equipment. Our TV went out during our stay and a new one was brought quickly. Beds were comfortable. Balcony views are beautiful and have nice furniture on both. Would stay again.

Condo was probably built in the 70s and looks like it has minimal maintenance since then. Beach chairs left in living room were full of sand on floors, cleaning of condo was minimal (dead bugs, dust), paint bubbling on walls, unit needs to be updated

It was very easy to find, beautiful views. The condo was well stocked. The only downside to it was that there was never anywhere to park. We had two parking passes for the condo but only needed one. We had to pull up and drop off our stuff and then park a bit away from it. Also, the bathroom floors needed to be cleaned a bit more.

Stay at the beach

The property was lovely and the view from the condo was amazing. The place was clean. There were no beach towels available like we’ve had in other places so we had to purchase some. We noticed other people had towels with their unit numbers on them. Also, the kurieg was broken but we used the other large coffee pot. When we pay a cleaning fee, we don’t feel we should have to strip the beds and take out the trash. Especially when we saw clean sheets in the closet. Overall, it was a nice place and matched the pictures on the site. And the lock box was convenient when checking in and out.

My stay

The location of this property was perfect. It was close to beach, pool and other places of interest. It is an older unit, but clean. The upstairs master mattress was very firm and not very comfortable, but that is just personal preference. It says one has two parking spaces, but we only had one available.? We only had one automobile, so it was not an issue. It would be nice if parking spaces were marked according to unit number. The right blind in the master had one panel that was already broken, so I did not open blinds and enjoy sitting out on the patio. Curtains would have been a better choice, there again, my preference. The stay was, however, very enjoyable and I would definitely stay again.

Great Location, Condo needs work

We loved the location of this property, the booking company was great to work with and checkin/out was seamless. A quick walk to the beach was great! I asked before checking if there was a pod coffee machine and sauté pan and was told no, but this property has both as well as a coffee pot and is well stocked with all other kitchen items. It seems that the owners have made a lot of DIY fixes to the property with the painting upstairs looking patchy, the accent wall in the master is buckling and separating from the ceiling, the blinds are all different colors and let in too much light in the early mornings. The outlets in the master are just floating in the wall instead of being a-fixed to the sheetrock and the tiling in the shower is very lumpy. Good stay, but house needs to be updated by a professional.

Great for beach location.

The location was perfect and what we wanted. The condo was okay. Needs better cleanliness (mold in bathroom, rust around bathroom faucets, dirty toilet, dirty cutlery in kitchen drawer, kitchen towels were old, rugs in bathroom were nasty- looked like they never have been washed, and found a few small roaches in kitchen), master bed was noisy with any move and a bit hard. Could use some updates throughout (kitchen drawer came off track, cabinets were unglued, mixed two colored blinds, light bulbs were yellow and some switches didn't do anything, door key device is rusted). VTrips (host) should improve responsiveness. Reported several issues and no response, even reported low battery (was chirping) with fire alarm device at 10am and didn't receive a response until after 1pm. With some attention to details and TLC this could be an amazing place.

Mother Daughter Getaway

Check-in was a breeze. Picked up parking passes and beach access keys. Code for door thankfully was not an issue for me. Condo was clean and close to beach walkway and pool. Beautiful sunrise views. There were a couple of small beach chairs and an umbrella. We had our own chairs so did not need. Sheets and towels are provided through a linen service so you will need your own beach towels. Not a big deal for us. Both bedrooms had televisions which was a plus for us. Several puzzles to work and books to read. Furniture nice and clean. Decor and bathrooms updated. Single sinks in bathrooms with little counter top space but was nice. I’m sure the next update will be a fresh coat of paint and updated blinds. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay in this unit again.

Dated but overall nice stay

Feel like a broken record with the number to the lock, was not the same number that was emailed to me but we were able to enter the property. The furniture was not comfortable at all, old and hard cushions. The breaker kept tripping in the upstairs bathroom, was told in an email to sweep the floors and when I swept the stairs dust flew everywhere telling me that it hadnt been done in a while. Overall feel like it could use some deeper cleaning and freshness. Walls were spotted with paint, just picky things like that. But as stated the overall stay was good, easy access to the beach. Received many emails so I felt that communication would've been great had i needed to contact someone over something. Would possibly stay again in a more updated rental.

11209 Sea Place

We stayed at this condo 7 years ago and were favorably impressed so we booked the same condo for this trip. We did not have the same experience. The condo is run down and does not appear to have been updated or properly maintained in the 7 years we had previously visited. Several items were below what I would expect in a condo for this price. Shades on sliding glass doors missing/damaged to extent we could not close entirely to block sun; Slide lock on front door not usable; No dish cloth provided; No place in master shower to place any items...used upside down garbage can; second bathroom shower had very low water pressure...almost unusable at times; second bathroom sink had draining problems; Light over dining area table flickers badly making use of the table difficult; vent over dining area table drips water to the extent we moved the table because it dripped on us when we used the table; vents in both upstairs bathrooms dripped constantly creating a very slippery situation; various light bulbs burned out; Woodwork beat up...needs serious paint job. Normally, I don't complain but this condo was well below our expectations. We will not use it a third time. Love the location and the view, but the rest was frustrating to say the least. Yearly Beach Trip

I have stayed at this property many times. I've stayed in VRBO condos several times here when our usual house is not available on location. The condos have always been very nice and well-maintained. This condo could use a ton of TLC. Patio furniture is chipping and peeling and sticks to you when you get up, furniture in the house seems very mismatched and awkward for a beach house, and walls and doors all over the condo are chipped and peeling and scratched up and it just doesn't give you a warm, well-maintained feel. Location is amazing and view from the balconies are wonderful. I would recommend a new bed in the master as it is squeaky 24/7 It makes it difficult to sleep. Again the view from the master balcony is amazing. It would also be really nice if all bedding materials are washed, including comforter, which is a thin cotton material and pillow shams as they smelled dirty from bodies. They're thin enough that they could easily be washed each time or have one back up every time and switch them out. Communication at first through VRBO was very slow, but they were nice enough to accommodate allowing us to get in about a half hour early and picking up and dropping off the keys process was easy enough. We will, of course, be back to this location again but I'm not so sure this particular condo though. I am very particular so it probably would not bother someone else. Again, the views were spectacular and I appreciate the outdoor patio furniture.

Great time in St. Augustine Beach!

The location of the condo was excellent, within walking distance to the beach, along with beautiful oceanfront views from the master bedroom and living room. The pool area was very convenient as well. The washer/dryer was broken for the duration of our stay, but we were compensated for it, so overall, it was not a huge deal, although it would have been nice to wash our beach towels, as none are provided in the condo. There were plenty of bath towels, though. The master bedroom was about 5-6 degrees warmer than the rest of the house during the day, but probably because it was facing the beach and got lots of sun. It was comfortable at night. The condo was clean, and overall, we had a great time!
