Our family of six covers 3 generations and there was something for everyone to enjoy during our recent weeklong stay. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Recommend not bringing more than 2 cars given parking situation. We'd go again.

Great property! Just be sure you can handle the stairs from the parking area. We had my 94 year old mother in law with us so the stairs were intimidating. But she did it! Otherwise it’s a great property.

Fabulous view and beach access

Perfect for family get away from Seattle or Tacoma. Lots to explore on the Island and being right on the beach was wonderful for happy hour or beach combing.

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time at the Manzanita. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. We loved it.

Cozy Cabin

We celebrated my mother-in-laws birthday and had a wonderful time. The kitchen was stocked with cook wear & utensils to cook meals. The beds were comfortable, the space was cozy and we really enjoyed kayaking!

Stayed for three nights for a girls work retreat. The view is stunning, truly beautiful, and the cabin was cute and nicely decorated. The only issue was the sugar ants. There were hundreds of dead (thankfully) sugar ants in two locations when we arrived. These things don't wig me out too badly so we swept them up, but they were back the next morning. That's a lot of ants! We contacted the owner and she responded quickly that she was aware of the problem and that there were more ant traps we could put out. It was fine, but for the money we paid to stay, the owner should probably hire an exterminator. All in all a good stay, if you're ok with some ants.

There are dead ants because the house has been treated. We offered to send cleaners to come clean but guests refused. We have pest control coming on a regular basis and ants are not so small they can enter the house irregardless. They come and go and they are part of the ecosystem. We can only treat them on a regular basis.

Very nice stay

We enjoyed our time on this beautiful beach and used the kayaks and paddle board provided. House has been redone and is very nice and new. I took my 3 older sons (2 college, 1HS) so I let them have the 3 bedrooms and I took the couch in the loft, since I wake earliest. It’s not exactly a pullout but it was still comfortable. Plenty of linens and towels. It was very quiet and relaxing. We drove from seattle, so I packed our food and supplies in. The town is darling and about a 20 min drive from the house. We really didn’t leave much- just played games and enjoyed the beach.

Wonderful location for either a relaxing & restorative, or energetic & active vacation. The views are amazing and the location is peaceful and beautiful. The house is very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking just about anything. The deck is where we spent almost all our time, for morning coffee, bird watching, dining, and star-gazing. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddling around the shoreline when the tide was in. We even noticed a seal keeping his or her eye on us! Our host Annie was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!
