Overall a very nice stay and exactly what we needed for a quick weekend with family and friends. Appliances are outdated and could use an upgrade but functioned well enough for our short time there. Great dock and location on the lake.
We had such an amazing time at this property. House was laid out perfectly and described accurately. We loved having the game room downstairs. The dock was awesome and the lake was so clean and not crowded at all. Would definitely come back!
Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some beautiful scenery.
The house was exactly as described in the listing, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Waking up to those stunning views of the lake every morning was such a treat—it really set the perfect tone for our days.
Communication with the owner was a breeze. They were super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Plus, the check-in and check-out process was incredibly easy, which took away any stress we might have had about logistics.
We can’t wait to come back!
House was wonderful and just as described. Mary Kate went above and beyond to answer any questions and quickly resolve any issues we had. The layout of the house and all furnishings (including beds) were perfect! Loved having the dock for our boat rental.
The boat landing is very close, the dock is very nice. The house is huge. We all loved the house and location. My family and I have been vacationing in this area for several years kind of our traditional long weekend get away. Unanimously we all agreed "We have found our new lake house" for our annual vacation.
We had a great time here. Lake/dock setting is beautiful and there was a lot to do with and without a boat. All appliances worked and the house was clean. Plenty of indoor games too for rainy days. Will be coming back.
The outside of the property was in need of cleaning and insect control. The interior of the home was clean and adequately stocked. Plenty of room for larger families. The dock is a short walk from the home but the exercise was appreciated. Mary communicated with me promptly will all my questions
The property was as advertised. Had 10 family members over including our college aged kids who had a blast hanging out at the dock and tubing behind our boat which we had at the dock all weekend. At night enjoyed billiards and other games they have at the house. Highly recommend this house for a larger crowd.
Decent place for Clemson visit; cleanliness and updating/repairs needed.
We liked the house layout and location (and host was easy to communicate with). Not any issues with any of that! Just needs some repairs (of chairs/stools) and major updating, as well as much more thorough cleaning and supply of certain things. Appliances need updating; mostly the oven which is very old, small, and doesn’t cook very well anymore. The place sleeps a lot of people (more than we brought), but has limited supply of things. (Most rental properties have ample paper goods and some soap/shampoo for bathrooms—whether small hotel sizes or big bottles of these, so I would suggest having something like this for guests.)
This year my family of 12, ages 3 months to 87 years stayed at this house this weekend for our annual family vacation and had a blast. Everyone had a great time. There was so much for the kids and young adults to do. It's a beautiful house on a beautiful piece of property on the lake. We found it very accommodating for out clan and the kids had a blast fishing and swimming off the dock. Even my 87-year-old mother was able to fish off the dock and have a great time. I highly recommend this house to any family wishing to get together on Lake Keowee, Seneca, South Carolina.
We had nine in our family that joined us at the lake house. Everyone agreed that this was the best one that we had been to in the past 10 years. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans plates, etc. Plenty of couches and chairs to be
comfortable in, We loved the screened in porch!
The downstairs game room was a hit with everyone with all of the different selections that we could play with. The dock was perfect for our pontoon boat and jumping off and swimming. Very safe and not much boat traffic. Location is perfect and close to restaurants and the Oasis mini golf! We would love to return and stay another week. Would highly recommend to other families!

Lake Fun
Beautiful lake. House was not properly cleaned, chairs at dining table were broken and very hard to sit on without pillows. Had to tighten the legs of the dining table which were very loose and seemed like it was going to fall, no hot water in the primary bath shower, screened porch was full of spider webs and dirty, couldnt use it. Saw a few roaches in the house. Used the roach spray owner left on the table. Liked the layout of the house and that we could spread out. Kids enjoyed the dock and lake. Lake Hartwell was beautiful and water was perfect.
Bathrooms very clean. Beds comfortable. Very nice layout of the house for four couples. Kitchen manageable; we like to cook and pots and utensils a bit thrown together. The oven needs better cleaning. The team that cleans the house could at least use a broom to clear the cobwebs from the main entrance of the house. Were not able to use screen porch due lack of being clean; cobwebs all over and furniture extremely dusty.
Overall we had a wonderful time at the fire pit! Made good use of the corn hole game, water toys, SUPB and hammocks. The depth of the water was perfect as well as the temperature. I would definitely go back again.

Somewhat disappointed
The Property Location is excellent with plenty of shopping and resturants in the Area.
The property itself is in desperate need of updates. The beds are uncomfortable in all the rooms. 3 out of 4 tvs work. 2 with remotes if you can figure out how to operatate two side by side projection tvs with one remote. The inside was very clean but the outside had cob webs all over and the yard hadn't been kept up. The day of Thanksgiving the Oven broke. We had to improvise with the outside Grill. Not fun when there is a lot to bake.
The carpets were stained, found two broken chairs, the curtains and blinds were damaged and some inoperable. Games for the kids were dated and missing pieces. I borrowed some billiard balls because the ones there where a mix.
The house served the purpose for a large gathering both local and out of town.

Great Comfortable Home, with many good times
Really comfortable home. We had a large group staying there and even a larger group coming by daily to play. The home's layout was perfect and we never felt on top of each other. Huge lot with cool fire pit down by the water. Everything in the home was not new or in perfect condition, but it was clean, comfortable and very user friendly. I have rented quite a few homes on Lake Keowee, and I will be coming back to this one next year.. I just hope its available.

This feels like our home away from home!
We have been visiting Lake Keowee since 1997 and we have stayed in this home since 2006. We LOVE the location. It is close to everything, dining, boat ramp, grocery, Keowee Marina and Tiki Hut! We love how private the cove is for such a large one. The kids take their canoes out for hours. We also have 2 jet skis we bring and there is a drive up dock for both of them. The kitchen fits all of us, and there is space for all of us to do what we want to do. I like to sit on the dock and read in the sun! This home is comfortable and peaceful, and Great Getaway! THANKS!

Love it!
We have stayed at this house three times and have it reserved again this summer. No better review than that! Great location on the lake and near Seneca. Plenty or room for three families. Good dock.

July 2010 Rental
We stayed at this house July 2010 and was very disappointed at the lack of upkeep in this home. Virtually no updates have been done, the board games are all pre-1990's as was the furniture. There were actual small saplings growing up from the gutters and spider webs everywhere outside! There were 2 large tv's side-by-side in the living room, but 1 of them did not work, so it just awkardly took up space. The house is large and sprawling, so if you are traveling with young kids I do not recommend this house, as it is impossible to keep an eye (or ear!) on the children from any one room of the house, long hallways, lots of stairs, etc. Also, the house never fully cooled off (dated AC unit) and the general disrepair of the house mad us sad we paid to rent it when there were so many other nice houses to choose from. The walk down to the lake is steep, long and hard, you will be winded after making the trip down to the lake. The pictures make the house look nice, but I have never been more diaappointed in a rental home. We do not recommend this home and we will NOT be back. (Note, the other reviews on this home are positive, but they are all from 2006 and 2008- we stayed in July 2010).

Our family fell in love w...
Our family fell in love with this beautiful, spacious home. We spent all of our days on the wonderful dock while enjoying swimming, skiing, boating, and fishing. Our evenings were occupied with playing pool, games, grilling, and enjoying the deck and screened porch. So much to do, so little time! We plan to return next summer and can hardly wait!
