A Gem of a Historic House!Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was exceptionally clean and even more spacious in person than it appears in the photos. The included parking spaces are an added bonus.The host was communicative and friendly, providing clear, easy-to-follow check-in instructions before our arrival. The location is perfect—a short walk to restaurants and shops. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This house was perfect for our ladies weekend! The location allowed for walking to everything! Parking was an added bonus! House was clean and had everything we needed. Aida and Jim were very responsive and check in was super easy. Would stay here again if traveling back to Newport in the future.

Our group cannot think of a single flaw for this stay. The location can’t be beat, friendly hosts, and beautiful house/backyard. This stay can probably accommodate any group and anytime we come back we plan on staying here!

Excellent location! Comfortable and spacious for relaxation in multiple rooms and patio area. We loved the plants too - a great touch! Shopping & dining is right outside the front door! The wharf was beautiful and we can’t wait to go back!

Comfortable, good space

Lovely family gathering in this New England 2 story. Spacious, clean, well stocked, great back yard, adequate parking, good location and easy check in. Kitchen and bathrooms updated and included all the amenities and utensils. Location is short walk to the ocean, restaurants and shops. Owners were easy to contact and very helpful. Thank you!

Highly recommend for a Newport trip

My friends and I recently stayed at this house for a weekend and can't say enough good things about it! It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and exactly as advertised in the listing online. It's location is incredibly convenient as it's within walking distance to all of the restaurants, bars and shops in downtown Newport. Aida and Jim were wonderful hosts who were very accommodating, communicative, and available for questions at any time during the stay. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient and fun place to stay in Newport!

Wonderful in every way!

This rental exceeded our expectations. It’s the first time we have rented and found that the pictures online did not do the house justice. The photos made the house look small, which was fine, but when we arrived it was surprisingly spacious. The location was ideal! It is literally one block away from the action, yet quiet at night. We brought six 16 year old girls. The location felt safe in every way. The house is fully equipped. There were kid toys, board games and baby furniture - anything you need, it’s there. The backyard is beautiful. In addition to all of this, the communication and consideration of the owners was wonderful. They even set up a cupcake order for our granddaughter (and her friends) to pick up for her birthday. We have rented a lot of homes. This was my favorite.

The house was perfect for my family. 8 adults, 4 kids and one baby. We managed to park 4 cars. One driveway is very tight. We were in Newport for a wedding. House had toys for the kids to play with and there was a nice back yard to hang out in. Walking distance to all the shops and waterfront was very convenient.

Great experience at 6 Marlborough Street. We and two other couples were in for a wedding and the house checked all of the boxes. All aspects of the property were clean and organized - kitchen, living areas, bedrooms and back yard. We hosted a small gathering in the back yard and enjoyed the shade and breezes. The location is well situated with short walks to the harbor and Broadway and just enough off of the fray to be quiet at night. Thanks Aida and Jim!

This house is perfect for a Newport vacation! The house is decorated and laid out so well. There was space for everyone to spread out. The backyard is an added bonus, spacious with a grill, large outdoor table, and couch as well as space to kick a soccer ball.The location couldn’t be better for exploring downtown. We’re already hoping to return again, thank you!

As a couple, we love to travel the world and discover new places. With Covid-19 and the arrival of our twin boys, we slowed down a bit, but we haven't stopped. This Newport house has been our alternative to traveling Europe or other parts of the world and we are so happy to share it with others.

Why they chose this property

The space
We bought this house as a summer place to raise our twin boys. We looked for a while until we found this perfect home. We are very happy with the generous space, the 4 bedrooms, the back yard and above all, the location. As big travelers ourselves, we are happy to open our home to others like us, who appreciate a good get together with family and friends.
This house has been on Airbnb for a while but has just been relisted from us as new owners. See last picture showing ~5 star reviews from prior listing which we continue to improve on.

What makes this property unique

This house is full of history and character. A true quintessential Newport style house, with a lot of charm and great location. Steps to downtown action and shops but yet, a quiet home with parking and a backyard.
