We had a fantastic week at the pink cottage! The place was spotless upon arrival. John and Sarah are amazing hosts. They have thought of everything. We enjoyed our water view and fishing on the dock. Just a fabulous place. We are already thinking about our next visit to the pink cottage.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the “Pink Cottage “. The home is extremely clean and neat. We’ve stayed at expensive hotels that were not as clean. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, utensils and cooking pots. I was surprised by how beautiful the view from the back of the house is. It’s much nicer than the pictures show. The owners were very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

The Pink Cottage was the most amazing place to stay for our sister’s trip! A quiet morning on the back porch with a cup of coffee was the best way to start the day, and the view of the sunset was just as an amazing way to end the day. Sarah and John were extremely welcoming and were very readily available if it were needed. I would definitely recommend the Pink Cottage and I would love to go back for a second visit!

We've vacationed on OKI 30 years. Of all those rentals, the Cottage is the best! The house is spotless, beautifully decorated, kitchen fully stocked, with all the amenities. And a quick walk to the beach! Add amazing sunsets over the slough and top that off with great hosts John and Sarah and it is the perfect oasis for the soul! We don't need to look any further for another place. We've found it at the Pink Cottage! The Olivers, North Carolina.

10 of out 10! Wonderful cottage. Just the right size for me, my husband & 12 year old son. Cottage was very clean. Smelled nice. Comfortable beds. Marsh view was amazing. Beach was even better. 10th visit to OKI & this is our favorite stay. Quite area. Nice hosts. We plan on staying again next year. Thanks for having us!

This was the perfect cottage to end our summer season in. John and Sarah were great hosts and even said no problem when I wanted to add my in-laws to stay alongside me, my husband, and baby. The cottage was very cute and well curated with all the amenities that one would need. The icing on the cake is being right on the marsh. This was perfect for my 8 month old to hangout on the back porch in the kiddy pool we brought and enjoy the beautiful ever-changing views especially when he was done with the beach. We even got in and he is officially a “marsh baby.” A term coined by John. Alls that to say, this was our 3rd time on Oak Island and this was by far my favorite house that we have stayed in. Thank you again Sarah and John for the lovely time!

This little place exceeded our expectations! We had a girls weekend and found the place super clean and attention to detail was executed without fail. Perfect view of the marsh and a very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed ourselves so much and we would like a return visit hopefully this fall. The house was absolutely spotless and smelled so clean the entire time we were there. The host was quick to respond and answered all questions. Host thought of every little thing that might be needed while staying and it checked every box. The decorations were so lovely and made the cottage cozy and sweet. The view from the back deck was breathtaking as the sun set, and nights rocking by the water were simply peaceful. We truly didn’t want to leave. Would absolutely stay again and will tell friends. Thank you John and Sarah!

Cannot say enough good things about our stay at the Pink Cottage. One of our favorite places we have ever stayed. The views are simply amazing and the house was so clean. Everything we needed was stocked and you can tell so much thought was put into this home. Beach access is walking distance right across the street and we found so many great shells. John and Sarah are so sweet and really made sure our stay was great! This is a little slice of heaven and we cannot wait to come back!

The care and detail that was apparent in the preparation of this home were greatly appreciated!
