Casa Mickey Lovely Family 3-bedroom Townhome - Private Splash Pool & Patio

Our vacation home is ideal for families with kids from toddlers to teens. We know this from our own direct experience as we are one of the original owners who bought off-plan in Windsor Hills nearly 15 years ago. We visit Florida every year for several weeks so we enjoy this home as much as our guests.

We bought a townhome on a premium plot which has a large open space behind, so is not overlooked by other townhomes, and gives much more privacy than many other homes. This is something our guests tell us they really appreciated. Please do check this when comparing townhomes on the resort. Smoke-free and pet-free home. Also, please note when looking at rates that pool heating is free of charge, not an added extra like some homes.

We handle our bookings directly ourselves because we know what families need from their vacation homes. We are very happy to give advice on buying tickets for attraction, car rental, anything that is part of your vacation. This is all part of the service of booking direct with owners who care about their homes and care about their guests.

Windsor Hills is an exclusive resort situated in the very heart of Kissimmee, Orlando. Its fantastic location is just one of its great features. It is only a few miles from Disney World and easily connected to Orlando's other main attractions, such as Universal Studios and International Drive. This private community is perfect for family and friends and has great facilities. The swimming pool with children's water slides are the focal point of the resort. There is a fitness room and the games room has pool tables, ping pong and video games. The on-site clubhouse also has a small movie theater and a convenience store for food and other essentials, now selling grown up drinks by the pool.

Solo break

The property was clean and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a trouble free stay. I couldn't get the TV in the main bedroom to work but they may be more down to me not understanding the instructions than anything else. There was a problem with a toilet cistern and after reporting it, it was fixed the same day. Windsor Hills is close to Walmart, 15 mins to Disney and 30 mins to Universal. The patio area and plunge pool were great for cooling off but probably not really big enough for family time, however the clubhouse pool and facilities were great and were a 5 minute walk from the house if you don't have a car. Super area if you have children.

Needs updating & more towels/hot pads

The property was in a great location. The mattresses definitely need replacing. The carpet also DEFINITELY needs replacing (I think the carpet is the reason for the musty smell). Need 2 handtowels per bath & kitchen so when washing one still have one to dry hands. Also kitchen had no hot pads to remove hot pans from oven. The USB cords that connected the tv downstairs were ruined & needed replacing & there were no batteries in the TV remote. This could be a great rental but there are some things that needs replacing & attention.

Perfect place for a family get away

We loved our long weekend stay! The townhouse was clean, comfortable and central to everything! We have really enjoyed staying at the Windsor Hills property in the past because of all that it has to offer with the water park, playground and onsite activities. We look forward to staying here again for future visits!

We are a family of four, and we have owned our home on Windsor Hills since it was constructed in 2004. We visit for several weeks every year and enjoy the relaxing downtime.

Why they chose this property

Our home is perfect for families - as a base to explore the parks and also as a great place to relax. For a day 'On-Resort' we normally go to the resort's big pool at 8:00am and enjoy the morning there - swimming, ping pong, hot dogs - then head back to the house for lunch, and enjoy the afternoon in our home with the splash pool. The premium position means we have nice privacy on our patio and in our pool.

What makes this property unique

The reason to choose to stay at our home Casa-Mickey is it has one of the premium locations on the resort. Back in 2004 we paid a premium to have one of the best locations on the resort - a few minutes' walk to the clubhouse but in a nice secluded position with no rear neighbors - when sitting on the patio or in the pool we look out on a huge open grass area for great privacy and quiet. Please remember this when looking at townhomes on Windsor Hills and make sure to compare.
