Nestled in the beautiful Green Mountains of southern Vermont, Swoosh Chalet is minutes from skiing (Mt. Snow), golfing, antiquing and hiking. Enjoy the quintessential New England downtown village full of eateries and shoppes just outside your door.

Swoosh Chalet has been curated with relaxation in mind. There’s an open eat in kitchen with a dining table and granite peninsula. Cozy up to the beautiful stack-stone wood burning fireplace in the living area or relax with a blanket, a book or board game in the comfortable reading nook. Downstairs, there are three updated bedrooms, including a bunk room for the young downhillers, equipped with a Smart TV. Enjoy après-ski on the any of the additional outdoor decks, perfect for grilling, corn hole, or s’mores over the fire table.

Swoosh Chalet resides in the Chimney Hill resort area, which boasts some great community amenities that guests can enjoy during their visit. You get use of the main Clubhouse which includes two pools, one indoor, one outdoor. Other Clubhouse amenities at your disposal include; fitness room, hot tub, arcade, billiards, and a movie theatre. Chimney Hill also offers the use of tennis, pickle ball, and basketball courts, and an ice skating rink (weather permitting) with its own warming hut.

Property had attention to details and was 'plug and play' when it came to enjoying our stay. The house was fully furnished. Fireplace was a bonus especially after a full day of skiing/snowboarding. I would recommend this property to others for anytime of the year.

We are a family of 5 and a yellow lab who spent a quick weekend at Swoosh to ski Mount Snow. The upstairs living room/kitchen is the perfect area for everyone to hang out together. It was snowing almost the whole time we were there, so the supplied firewood was a nice surprise and the fire made the house super cozy…a perfect winter weekend. The house is well stocked with towels, kitchen items and cleaning supplies and the beds are comfortable. Overall, it’s a great little ski house that you won’t want to leave once you get back home from the mountain!

Great place in the woods

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The host was super communicative and gave us lots of tips, including a local Mexican restaurant which we loved. The house had everything we could possibly need already stocked. A highlight for us visiting in the summer was the clubhouse, which had a great indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, nice little gym, and various other recreation opportunities on site.

Lovely stay at the Swoosh Chalet!

Our family of 5 had a great stay at the Swoosh Chalet. The owner was very communicative and thorough, providing excellent information about the property, amenities, and surrounding area. The house is well equipped. Our family enjoyed reading on the deck, putting together puzzles, and playing games. The pool and clubhouse are wonderful, and the surrounding area provided lots to do and see!

The house was kept in great condition and the owner Matt was fantastic with communicating through the Expedia app. Everything was exactly as he communicated and whenever I had questions, he replied very quickly, almost like it was a text message. The house had a working wood fireplace with plenty of wood, 3 bedrooms that could fit 4 in one room, 3 in one room, and 2 in another room. There plenty of towels and necesities needed for a large family or 2 families. The house was clean with large windows which let in a lot of light during the day. Definitely need an AWD car as driving up and down to the house could be slippery. I would recommend you look at this house if you want to stay by Mount Snow with up to 9 people in your party.

Great chalet near Mt Snow and Hermitage!

We had the chance to ski at the Hermitage club and Mr Snow this weekend. We arrived at the swoosh chalet and checked in with ease. The place is very spacious and has everything you need for a great stay. We were super comfy after long days of skiing. The owner of the chalet is very kind and understanding. Communication is fantastic. He treated our dogs like his own and we appreciate that so much. Definitely would stay again next season .

Amazing place

We had a great time at swoosh chalet! The house was so cute! Loved that every room had a theme! Tons of games and puzzles for the entire family. There was a tons of snow while we were there. The roads were cleared much faster than I anticipated. Kids loved going to the hot tub at the club house. Owner is very responsive! Can not say enough good things! Will definitely be back!

Cozy chalet with everything you need!

This property was fantastic! We had 8 people total with us and never felt too crowded. Each person had their own bed and they were comfy too! The game/ reading book section was amazing we got to listen to a few records while playing board games. We were able to light a fire in the fire place to give a great ambiance and warmth to the place. The stairs outside were a little icy but we added some salt to them to help with traction. Same with the driveway it was a tad slippery but if you follow their directions of an all wheel or four wheel drive car you should be totally fine! Overall great stay and can’t wait to come back next year!

Perfect fall getaway

Highly highly recommend this wonderful property! From booking to check-out, Matt's communication was prompt and helpful. He even left a sample itinerary tailored to our group and the weather. The chalet is comfortable in every way - great mattresses, linens, throws in the communal area and large couches. Our youngsters loved the games, puzzles and clubhouse pool(s :). The kitchen was by far the best I've ever enjoyed in a rental - equipped for every need from morning coffee to tools and implements for dinner prep - not a single thing missing. We can't wait to return in the winter for a ski weekend! Thanks again Matt!!

Great Weekend at Mt. Snow

My friends and I had a great time at the Swoosh Chalet this past weekend. Matthew was very communicative giving updates and answering questions we had about parking etc. There are a lot a very small details that make the property unique and fun that I don't think you get at other resort or ski-in-ski-out options. Plenty of parking and smooth check in process we were in the door with out feet up within 60 seconds of arriving at the property. Drive to mount Snow is reasonable and the directions are simple so its hard to get lost. I would recommend this too anyone looking to have a fun weekend with their friends playing games, sitting by the fire and brewing up some hot chocolate Matt thank you for having us!

Little piece of heaven in VT

This home was more than expected. The pictures don't do it justice! Everything was amazing. The hosts clearly took the time to tend to every detail. There was a book that they put together with everything you could possibly need, in alphabetical and categorical order. Amazing! The rooms were all super comfy and had really cute themes. Cabin fever, bunny slopes (each bed was a color that coordinated with the slope. My little guy slept in the black diamond bed hehe)and wooded bliss. We were 4 adults and 4 kids ranging from 1 to 6. The kids enjoyed the different games that were available as well as the colored pencils. We took advantage of the fireplace outside to make s'mores as well as used the grill for burgers. The outdoors was so nice! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The living from is very cozy & we look forward to returning to enjoy the indoor fireplace. We had access to the clubhouse which was great. The indoor and outdoor pool were a hit. There's a playground next to the pool too as well as a game room inside. So much to do, so little time. There's a ton of things to do in the area, been hiking, checking out the center of town and all it has to offer, to all the local breweries. Getting to the Chalet was clear and well marked. Staying at this amazing place and being able to experience Wilmington left me with wanting to come back! It stole my heart. I fully recommend staying here. I will 100% be returning to Matt's place!
