Truly enjoyed our visit, even on the rainy weekend we had. Plenty of space for 2 families. The game room was fun for the teenagers. Enjoyed the gas grill and fire pit for Memorial Day festivities.

Lake Anna

Property was clean, well stocked and had plenty of room. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

Very nice and clean. Big yard and fire pit.. Awesome game room! Lots of room for a family. Would stay here again!

I usually do not leave reviews, but I want future guests to know about our experience. We booked this property for two nights as a relaxing Lake Anna getaway, but immediately encountered incorrect gate and Wi-Fi information, bugs and spiders downstairs, and a very strong odor coming from the sink and shower. The smell made using the bathroom, shower, and kitchen uncomfortable.My sister has asthma and became sick during the night. Because it was late, we initially stayed, but she ultimately left, and I left the following morning. We even had to go to Lake Anna State Park to shower before returning to sleep.We contacted Vrbo several times, and they repeatedly tried to reach the host by phone and email. Unfortunately, the host never responded or addressed the problems. The host offered a 10% discount for the second night, but we needed to leave because we were no longer comfortable staying there.This was not the relaxing two-night stay we expected. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property unless the odor, cleanliness, instructions, and responsiveness issues are fully addressed.

**TRUTH with a 5-8 min response rate and a 5/5 immediate response to every VRBO/Guest email or call** 1. Gate code - it was listed correctly in the checkin message we sent 7 hrs before the checkin time (never been an issue with past guests) 2. Wifi password - is correct and informed the guest it’s posted on the kitchen board as indicated in the property details (never an issue with past guests) 3. Bugs/spiders - spoke with guest/VRBO rep. immediately when they called me and assured them the property is always 100% professionally cleaned and because the property is in the middle of the woods and the weather some bugs will come in the basement (again never been a past guest issue) 4. Odor - as indicated over the phone and in our property details the property uses well water and we advise all guests to run the water for 5-10 mins to clear the sulfur smell that has collected since no one stays at this property full-time (never an issue with past guests) 5. No response from owner - 110% false claim as I responded 5/5 emails and calls from VRBO/guests As premier owners we take it very seriously and personally to ensure our property and more importantly our guests are safe, professionally cleaned and respond immediately to any issues or concerns. This is the first false claims regarding our property. It is the responsibility of all guests to read and review the property details.

Lake Anna annual visit

My sister, son and our my family really enjoyed this charming and beautiful lake house. It had an amazing porch and so quiet. More beds than we even knew (two upstairs are trundle beds!) Cooking dinner together and having an amazing location made the weekend perfect. Thank you!

Pros: - Charming place with many amenities - A/C - Spacious Cons: - Shower water smelled bad each day - Cameras on property that we had no idea about and were not disclosed prior to booking(no privacy) - Not as close as we thought to marina

Guests were reminded all outdoor cameras are listed in property details. Immediately spoke with Guest that we have well water and not city water which has a mineral smell than city chlorine water. Guests listed 2 guest’s only to avoid the per guest/per night fee, but all 5 bedrooms with beds were used. Guests left ALL doors open and lights on which violates VRBO house rules/policies. Guests forgot to leave the key in the locked box. Guests left our home in the worst shape in our 40+ stays. In summary we have blocked and will not rent again with these guests.

We had a great time! The house was very well stocked and had everything we needed. Very convenient location and just what we were looking for. The game room was a big hit with the kids! Would definitely return!
