Beautiful and quiet setting. House had all of the amenities. Very clean. Susan was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend staying here. Will definitely be back!
Everything we could need was provided for us! We loved sitting out on the back deck in the evenings and the screened in porch in the mornings! Beautiful and secluded neighborhood. We all wished we'd have had more time!!
Cute cabin with a nice location in the neighborhood. There is a trail right outside the back door down to the river and is walkable to the clubhouse. Kitchen has essentials but not a surplus. We enjoyed our stay and Susan was amazing!
We had a great stay at Cheery on Top! Powder Horn Mountain was a great place to stay. We hiked, fished, swam in the pool and creek. Our dogs had a freat time as well. We will definitely be back.
Spent 3 days here the weekend before Christmas and it was the perfect relaxing time for our family. The house was decorated for the holidays making it that much better. We lost our heat halfway through the stay but the owner supplied us electric heaters to hold us over until the HVAC guy could come.
We decided to take the “long way home” as part of a longer trip and detoured to this cabin for a couple days. Clean cabin. Very relaxing setting. Relatively easy access to Boone and Blowing Rock. All around good trip and wonderful experience.
Property was excellent, everything was clean and provided--could not ask for much more with the property. Loved the turn table and listened to some old records that were provided. Clubhouse never seemed to be open, but the trails were great and watching the deers was a good treat. Roads were crazy getting to the place--but that is expected driving in the mountains. Enjoyed exploying the surrounding areas.
The house and property were great. The community clubhouse needs work. The paddle boats were out of commission. No water in pool and the walking trials could be easily marked for people to enjoy.

Met up with daughter and 2 grandsons to go to Tweetsie to see Thomas the Tank Engine. This house was perfect for us. Living spaces were big enough to allow for play, comfortable for the adults, very clean, well maintained, all of the essentials. Beautiful location.
Peace and quiet in a well maintained and clean cabin
This cabin is very clean and well maintained. If you want a remote location while still close to Boone - this place is it. We had an A+ experience. Will be back.
it was peaceful and relaxing with park for the babies nearby , although all the paddleboats were broken. The charcoal was nice and the house was comfortable. We did leave the charcoal full when we left and hopefully we will come back soon
Perfect combination of peaceful rustic getaway and modern comfort amenities! I enjoyed morning coffee on the deck watching wildlife and working remotely on my laptop, while my teens enjoyed gaming on their laptops, the internet is wonderful for being so remote! Trails and rivers were great as well as the pool and clubhouse with ping-pong and pool table. We will definitely be using this rental again!
We booked our stay for a short weekend get-away with our dogs. We chose the property because of the trails available and the lake.
The house was lovely and very clean. And, very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook.
We could not find any trail heads with parking and there is no swimming in the lake, which is we brought our dogs.
Overall, great property and very relaxing.
