Great place with a great view and quick walk across the road to the beach. I’d stay there next time we’re traveling to Gloucester.

Wonderful property in an amazing location. Right in the park so only a short walk to the beach. Host was very responsive and helpful. House is just as described.

I would recommend bringing your own oven mitts to remove food from oven, because there are none provided. Bring your own decaf ground coffee for the machine. There is no toaster oven so you need to use the broiler for toasting bagels.The place is across from the water. Air conditioning in bedrooms and living room. The place was convenient to everything in the area. If you want to go to Hammond castle museum you need to make ADVANCE reservations. Gloucester and rockport are the premium spots for a comfortable hot summer getaway in Massachusetts.

Wonderful stay!

Our family stayed at this wonderful home for a week and none of us wanted to leave!! Location,ease of access to all dining and events,walking paths,playground,and beaches! Gracia was wonderful and made our stay very comfortable and was always available if needed Will Hope to stay again next summer!

We had a wonderful stay with our family of four. The home is beautiful and has a view of the ocean from the back porch. The host was very attentive to us and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The property is lovingly maintained and owned and operated by very nice people. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Gloucester

We rent frequently on this platform and this was by far the absolute WORST experience. Check in: the host only told us 3 hours prior to check in that we needed to “schedule a time and a tour”. Kept pressuring us that she had another guest and check-in which was really awkward. Also only had one key. After checking in, our son noticed the toilet (before using it) in the one bathroom was clogged and didn’t flush. The host started plunging the toilet but then asked us to pour very hot water down the toilet to unclog it and left. So we did that on day 1 on of our vacation which was another odd request but we needed a working toilet! That didnt work and we had to leave for an event so we told the host. She said she and a “co-host” will snake the toilet while we were out. She let us know the toilet had been fixed. When we returned, the toilet was fixed but there were streaks of feces smeared all over the bathroom shower, floor, walls, rug, and hallway. We had two young kids with us, it’s 9:30 pm and we messaged her with photos of the issue. She offered to come clean but our kids had to go to sleep and because of the disgusting smell and human waste all over we decided to clean it asap. Her response was “well, I don’t know what you want me to do. You can check out if you want.” We called VRBO and subsequently after the call at 1215am in the middle of night, they canceled our booking with the official reasons being we “changed” the WiFi name and I was not over 25. What liars. Feces.

Great stay

This home is right by Stage Fort Park and close to Half Moon beach. This VRBO did not disappoint. Clean, furnished with all we needed and beautifully designed for a warm ocean feel. Close to restaurants and activities. We enjoyed our stay and the host was friendly and helpful with any questions. I enjoyed just sitting on the porch and looking at the ocean . Took our 2 sons and they each enjoyed their room and wifi of course. One bathroom with 2 older teens was not an issue. Hope to stay there again.

The view is what you pay for

The view is amazing. The home is under renovations. The attic and first floor were locked so we only had access to the main floor, which was fine. No swing as seen in pictures. The main issue was the house was freezing cold when we got there. It was 51 degrees outside and windy. It was only 55 in the house. We are from FL so we were frozen. It took us 3 days to get the house to 70 so we were comfortable. I assume all northern homes take that long??? We bought heating pads to help keep warm.

Location, location, location! My property's location has a rich history appreciated by me, my family, tourists, history buffs and locals, alike. Located in Gloucester's famous Stage Fort Park area overlooking the beautiful Cressy's Beach, just a short walk from Stacy's Boulevard, this is where Gloucester's first house was built and was later moved to Salem, MA.
