Eagle's Landing on the Rock River, Pontoon available to rent

Enjoy the beautiful scenic views of the Rock River with plenty of room for adults and kids to hang out and play. With 3 bedrooms and daybed with trundle in the rec room and 2 full baths, on two levels there's plenty of room to spread out.

If you're wanting to be "On the water" this is your place! Wake up in the morning to the sights of steam coming off river, and deer at waters edge across the river in a natural sanctuary. Enjoy morning coffee on the boathouse deck. Bring your binoculars and spy on the Eagle's nest across the river.

Enjoy water activities all day long, 3 pass. canoe, 2 kayaks provided. The river also is great for tubing, boarding, or skiing. Lake Koshkonong is only minutes up river, a 10,000 acre full recreational lake with great fishing for Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike, Bass, Catfish, and Carp. Lake Kosh has some great sandbars to hang out on, or visit the many fine establishments around the lake for dining, adult libations, or live bands.

If water recreation is your thing, bring your boat! Let us know in advance and we can make room on our boat lift for a boat up to 25'. Pontoon is available at our pier for rent, $300/day includes first tank of gas, $200/each additional day, 9 person capacity 60HP four stroke motor, no tubing or skiing. There is also room on our pier to dock your boat, pontoon, or jet skis. Public boat launch across river 3 minutes north via river. Local power sport rentals just 10 mins up the river.

Grill out on the gas grill provided and watch the kids in the fenced yard. At night cozy up around the fire pit down by the river. Two smart TV's provided with high speed internet and an old fashion pinball machine.

Kitchen comes stocked for meal time, or check out the many fine establishments in Edgerton, around the lake, or Janesville just a short 15 min. drive away.

Great peaceful place on the water, super serene atmosphere and the place itself is well appointed. Stayed here for a race weekend in Madison and it was the perfect respite. Wish I could have taken advantage of all there is to do on the water, was very nice having the option to rent the pontoon! Would definitely return!Would definitely stay again.

I loved that we were able to bring our dog (furry family member).The host (Randy) was wonderful at communicating. The place was clean, and we really appreciated having some tissues and some nice hand lotion available. I know these seem like little things, but they were nice touches!We did not use the Pontoon boat, but I would have loved to take my two boys to this place for a family vacation when they were younger. We were there to visit my youngest adult son, who lives in Madison, WI.My sister really liked the Pinball machine, too!

So AMAZING! The property was perfect, tucked away on the Rock River, nature everywhere, a short boat ride to the lake, very clean and everything we needed was provided. We loved our morning sunrises sitting on the boat house deck, kids loved the basketball hoop, played every day, rented the pontoon multiple days, grilled out, sat by the fire at night and enjoyed every moment! We will definitely go back, highly recommend staying here. Randy and Jo were easily accessible and helped with all questions/concerns. Thank you for a great family vacation!

Great little getaway place

We chose this place mainly for its location as we have family in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by how cozy yet spacious it was. My husband and I enjoyed having our family visit for the day and the layout was perfect where the adults could be upstairs and the younger kids were happy in the downstairs area. We chose to take advantage of the pontoon boat rental option and it was so convenient. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and offered suggestions of some places to visit. We appreciate the ease of our stay and highly recommend it! We will be back!

We have been renting different houses the past 7 years. I have found my favorite. Randy is a10 out 10 host. House is beautiful anything you can think of they had. Kayaks, paddle boards, bags. Nice on the water getaway

The house was very clean and updated. We loved the patio over the boat house. Eagles across the river were spotted everyday. The host was always quick with answers to any questions. Plenty of water toys to take out on the river. The local golf course (home of Steve Stricker) within 10 minutes and definitely worth playing. Will definitely be back.

Eagles Landing is just as described. Every area of the house is comfortable and inviting. Everything we needed was provided. Lots of great games. This property is very nice. Even with the river way up putting the dock under water we had a great time. Caught fish off the deck, we went kayaking and canoeing, played basketball and cornhole and played pinball. We also rented the pontoon and went for lunch via the water. We went for walks and saw wildlife galore. We saw mature and baby Eagles. My wife was very impressed with the cottage and the ammenities. Everything we needed was available to us.

Beautiful and Very Clean Lake House

Eagle’s Landing was a very clean and well appointed/supplied lake home. We had a “guy’s weekend” and the home was absolutely perfect for us. We were looking for a quiet/peaceful getaway and Eagle’s Landing delivered. The kitchen is very well appointed - I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed to put together some amazing meals. The beds are comfortable and there are little touches everywhere. There are many games and spaces to relax. The outdoor spaces were perfect - we had outside fires and loved the sun deck on the top of the boathouse. I would highly recommend Eagle’s Landing! By the way we did see several beautiful Bald Eagles while we were sitting by the water.

10 star stay! Had an amazing time at Eagle's landing. The house was clean and beautifully furnished. We had everything we needed right at the house. The beds were soft and comfortable, Air was nice and cold, and the view was amazing! We saw eagles and pelicans out on the pontoon our 1st night! Our hosts were fantastic! answered all our questions in under 5 minutes, helped us find a great sandbar to swim, and gave us tips about the house and pontoon. It did rain during our stay, but that was okay because we played pinball for an hour then played some board games and sipped coffee and watched the rain and talked. I can't say enough about this stunning location. BTW, Lake Kosh is huge! We cruised around on the pontoon, enjoyed a dip in the lake and stopped off at dockside bars/restaurants. Also, We got our fishing license and fished off the pontoon as well as off the dock. Relaxing at it's finest. Thank You so much for a weekend we will never forget. Loved our time at your place.

New to vacation rentals, any feedback would be great. We have fallen in love with hosting and sharing are vacation home. We purchased this property in '23 and it needed lots of love, truly had been neglected for sometime. We currently have the lower portion remodeled along with both bathrooms. New stainless steel appliances. Two queen beds along with new daybed and bunk beds downstairs. Currently (spring '24) we are replacing fireplace and redoing the dining area for more seating along wall or more counter space for serving food. Lots of new drywall and paint has gone up. Bedrooms and family room have new carpeting, downstairs all new flooring.

Why they chose this property

Love this part of the river, no one is across the river and we are at one of the wider parts of the river. Enjoy all the activity during the day on the water, and the quiet evenings hanging out on the boathouse deck. Friendly neighbors with very little traffic, we are a somewhat an isolated neighborhood. The wild life is abundant here, watch out for the deer and their little ones when coming and going to property. You may even spy a fox, mink, or otter.

What makes this property unique

Love love waking up in the morning and seeing only water from the front room! Bring your binoculars to spy on the eagles in their nests across the river.
