Lake get away!

This is our second time staying at the cottages and absolutely loved it! Having our own kitchen was nice however we did utilize the community area multiple times! The property manager was awesome and very attentive!

Beautiful property! Lots of open space around the lake, grills and fire pit. Shaded area lakeside as well as sun area. Host on hand and extremely nice! Cottage is small but very quaint and has everything you need. Would consider returning

Beds uncomfortable.

Beds were old need new matrices. They don’t clean comforters between guests. Had to clean up ourselves.. Empty trash and strip beds. Parking was awkward and wierd walk to Lake view. It was a drive to everything.

I'm sorry you had an unpleasant stay, Jill. The vintage Cottages have been lovingly restored; the mattresses are NEW. Realizing that sleep comfort is subjective, perhaps you didn't care for the pillow top & thought it too soft. Parking is in a gravel lot at the back of the property, as explained in listing. Also explained is the 350-foot walk from the Cottage front door to waterfront & lake views. Plaz Vilka is located approximately 4 miles of Vermilion, OH-not sure what area attractions you were interested in visiting, but it's the guest's responsibility to pick accommodations close to the attractions they intend to visit. We think our listing description is on point, very transparent to what we are offering. This property is not a 'cookie-cutter' hotel room stay, but the views of Lake Erie & its sunsets and the private beach access are well worth the price point and enjoyed by many guests! ~Kathleen, Owner/Host

Excellent beach views and beach area. Tiny cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our short trip. Very quiet and relaxing area of Vermillian.

Great Location on the Water

Great place for a weekend exploring Lake Erie locations. The cabins are small but the shared outdoor areas are great for relaxing with a campfire by the lake.

Beautiful lakefront stay

Enjoyed my visit, cottage was very clean, grounds are well kept and you can't beat the view. Great price! Liked the idea of having community space. The only thing I would change would be the size of the shower in Cottage 1. Otherwise, everything was exceptional. Will for sure be coming back! Plan to recommend to others.

Perfect for downtime

I stayed in cottage number one with my mom for a short girls getaway. The check in process was extremely smooth, the cottage was clean, the grounds were clean and And the view of the lake was breathtaking. I will definitely be back.

View of Lake Erie

This was a nice little cottage with a wonderful view when you walked down to the lawn chairs. It was a little tough for us heavy-weight people to squeeze into the bathroom since the door could only open half way before hitting the bed.

Covid escape
