The house was perfect for our stay. Everyone enjoyed the house and it was stocked with everything you could need including ziplock baggies and foil.

We loved our stay at this place and found the host very accommodating and communicative! The property was beautiful in a quiet neighborhood and the bedrooms were so cozy, they even had fans in each bedroom and really put a lot of thought into the mid century decor. We went with a group of 8 to use all the bedrooms and a couple bunk beds and we will be back!

The house is perfect for a couple of families or a few couples to enjoy. The deck is a great spot to catch up with friends while the kids play in the big yard. The kitchen and pantry are very well stocked with basic necessities which was helpful for making meals there. The bedrooms were all a good size and mattresses were comfortable. The rooms do get bright when the sun comes up but that doesn’t bother us. The hosts were very accommodating and made sure we were having the best trip possible. We would definitely love to stay here again for our next trip back to Reno.

We spent Thanksgiving week here and thoroughly enjoyed the house, the neighborhood and the foothills trails and nearby Rancho San Rafael Park. We also wanted to be close to UNR, and this location was within a couple miles of campus. The kitchen was superbly equipped for making Thanksgiving dinner, and our family enjoyed the living spaces for watching football, playing board games, XBox. Everyone in our family lifts weights and runs, so the fitness equipment in the garage was super useful, as was the proximity to the expansive trail network. Beds and baths were as comfy and clean as described and photographed. Hosts are amazing with communication and availability to offer tips for things to do or assistance with stay details. We felt so well taken care of, and we appreciated this choice for staying in Reno.

Comfortable house

House had plenty of room for our party of 7. Kids loved to hang out in the extra space in the room with bunk beds. Back porch was nice and relaxing to enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The welcome bars were a great touch too. The backyard is way bigger than the pictures show. Plenty of room to run around and play volleyball. We were busy all weekend, so disappointed I didn’t make time to use the gym in the garage. It looked well set up for a nice workout. The communication with owner was stellar. Owner and host were always available to answer any questions in a timely manner. Will definitely rent house again on our next trip to Reno. Location was just 10-15 min from lots of places.

From our communication with this guest, they denied to pay the tax associated with their reservation, which was attempted to be collected after booking, due to a system issue that did not auto collect upon booking. We believe this is the reason for the 4 star review, which does not reflect the property, the value of the home, nor our hosting credibility. We have addressed the issue on our end, however we do not have control over system failures of VRBO. Regardless of system failures, taxes are always required with all reservations. This is a normal fee nationwide that is not imposed by the host and required by law.

We connected with this guest upon seeing the 4 star review and they confirmed in writing that this was inaccurate and that they intended for a 5 star review. The guest reached out to VRBO directly to have it changed and VRBO would not let the guest change their review. The guest was very apologetic for this mistake and thanked us for a 5 star stay!
